Late at night the witness sat alone in a parked SUV before hog hunting when a large dark bipedal figure passed behind the vehicle, striking the trailer hitch hard enough to shake the truck. The witness observed it in a mirror as it moved away with long strides into adjacent woods. The witness remained in the vehicle for hours before continuing to hunt.
Car pulling camper hits something on US 129 South of Live Oak
Four men were driving south late at night towing a loaded travel trailer when a tall dark form ran toward the road on two feet. The car passed in front of it, but the trailer struck it with enough force to lift the trailer off the ground. The occupants stopped, backed up, and inspected the vehicles and roadway but found no body, blood, hair, or damage.
Early morning encounter during a rest stop near Florida City
Two friends drove into the Everglades park in the early morning and parked at a pine habitat to nap in their car. They were awakened by an ape-like animal looking into the tinted windows, touching the car, and then rummaging through a nearby dumpster for an extended period while emitting a strong rotten odor. The animal eventually walked away howling, and the witnesses drove to Flamingo where they reported the encounter to rangers.

The witness motored by airboat at night into an oak hammock to gig frogs and stopped for coffee. After hearing tearing vegetation, ground banging and a loud shrieking scream, large clods of mud were thrown at and onto the boat. Shining a headlamp, the witness saw a huge brown-haired biped about 25 to 30 feet away pumping its arms in an aggressive display, then started the boat and fled to the middle of a nearby lake until daylight and has avoided the spot since.

A few nights later a loud scream and shotgun blasts came from a cattle rancher's property. While following a deputy's patrol car, the witnesses saw the creature run from the dark and be struck, stopping the car. It got up limping, struck the hood, screamed, and left toward the swamp. At the pasture the prize bull was found dead with its torso in one place and head about 100 yards away, followed by an all-night search with dogs and helicopters that found nothing.

A family staying in a house in the former town in the forest woke to their car alarm. They saw a large hairy Bigfoot-like creature hitting the car with a big stick as if trying to silence it. When the father shut off the alarm with his keychain, the creature ran off.

An acquaintance who drove a bus said that years earlier while trucking across Alligator Alley at night he stopped at a lone stop sign where a damaged car sat empty with doors open and lights on. As he prepared to leave to find a phone, a massive wide-bodied hairy thing rushed from the woods to his cab, stared him in the eyes, yelled and dented his hood. At the next phone he met the car's occupants, who said they had hit one creature and then been attacked by another before fleeing with passing motorists.

The witness and several friends camped on family land in South Florida near the national park. At night they heard hisses, tree knocks and whoops, saw strange lights, then saw a group of large hairy bipeds that threw rocks, injured a friend, threw a large dog, and chased the group as they fled on ATVs. The next day the camp was found destroyed and the dog was found dead.

A truck driver said he struck what he first thought was a person while driving in Florida. The figure then looked up, appeared gorilla-like, and stood about ten feet tall. The driver fled in his truck after hearing a loud high scream.
