Daytime encounter by two people near Rock Creek Road
The witness and a younger relative parked and hiked toward a beaver dam meadow. The relative heard knocking sounds and then saw a tall hunched hair-covered figure with striking yellow eyes watching from the treeline, while the witness smelled a strong odor and the dog barked and kept looking back. The group walked back to the truck without running while hearing twigs snapping behind them, and later wondered if they had disturbed the animal while feeding.

While camping with family near a ghost town, the group walked back toward camp with their dog. After the dog was sent into brush, yelped, and fled to camp, the nine-year-old [name withheld] saw a tall hair-covered figure standing uphill watching them. The family ran to camp, set up a string-and-can perimeter alarm, then heard growling and rattling around the perimeter before packing up and leaving.

The witness and two companions snuck out at night to a swimming hole and found a headless kitten on a lifeguard chair. The witness then saw a backlit man-like figure crouched in a pine tree above the path. They hurried back to camp without looking back and later heard huge splashes in deep water twice.
