Cryptid sighting in Arkansas (2022)
After moving back to Arkansas, the witness went for a solo afternoon hike on a waterfall trail in the Ozarks. The forest suddenly went completely silent and still, then he heard something pacing him in the thick woods. Looking back he filmed a pitch-black silhouette with a deer-like head and horn-like projections that was gone on his return, where vegetation was smashed flat. While bent over filming unusually large deer-like scat near the trail end, a loud close twig snap with nothing visible triggered intense fear, and he hurried to his truck and avoided the woods for about a year.
Daylight sighting by two hikers at trailhead for Hideout Hollow in Buffalo National River
The witness and a companion arrived at a forest trailhead around noon to hike to a waterfall. After hearing an odd sniffing sound at the car, they started down the trail and saw a large brown hair-covered biped running through the woods with its arms up and dark hairless hands. As they retreated quickly to the car, something moved fast over their heads through the branches, frightening them enough to leave the area.
Night fisherman sees a reddish Sasquatch running near Red River
The witness was walking alone on a small gravel road toward fishing holes near two rivers at sunset. A reddish-brown creature came fast through the woods to the right, heading toward the witness, then turned toward the river before reaching the road. The witness saw it from the side from the shoulders down at about 25 to 30 feet and estimated it was at least seven feet tall. After a moment of shock, the witness headed back home.
Surprise observation by two hunters on the opposite bank of the river
Two relatives were hunting near a river and stopped at the edge to drink when they heard brush noises from across the water. A large brown figure emerged from the brush, moved downshore and crossed to their side while running on two legs. They then crossed to the other side and headed back upstream toward their trucks without further strange encounters.
