After daytime shooting and loud vehicle sounds stopped at dark, they heard long female-like woos answered by male-like moans, a heavy stomp, subtle brush movement, a guttural sound, and a heavy splash from a thrown log. Through night vision a companion reportedly saw five figures standing together across the water, prompting rapid packing and departure through the locked gate.

Around 2 a.m. a loud slap, a mimicked crow call with a deep gurgly ending, and bipedal footsteps woke the witness. The sounds stopped shortly after, and the next morning the adults found apples and potatoes missing from the back of the truck.
