The group found distinct five-toed tracks, heard an owl-call answered oddly, heard a warning-like howl and later chatter, and saw saplings broken at angles. While forward of the group at night the witness used thermal to see a large heat mass between trees that vanished, and shortly after others in the same vicinity were growled at.

A hunter left his stand in the morning to help search for a wounded deer and joined a companion who had spotted an upright hairy animal in a tree. The witness observed the animal standing in a fork through a rifle scope, noting reddish hair, bare facial skin and long arms, before it disappeared as they approached. They found heavy heel impressions and a strong odor at the site and later watched two distant figures moving in trees.

They described it as very mobile and said it jumped a four-foot fence with ease, estimating its weight at 450 to 500 pounds. The witness was driving slowly back into a rural subdivision at night in sleet and ice with bright lights on. The witness saw a large hairy mass the size of a large deer on the roadside that stood up, took two steps, dropped to its knuckles and lunged into the woods. A relative riding in the vehicle did not confirm the sighting, and a same-night search with another relative found nothing. After being iced in for three days, the witness returned and found a single footprint, which was stepped in and destroyed.

The witness was deer hunting alone from an elevated stand before dawn under a full moon. A large bipedal figure emerged from dense woods and walked along a pipeline clearing toward his position, then turned to face him after hearing his rifle safety click, walked backward briefly, spun around and reentered the woods. A larger tree nearby then shook violently, and after sunrise the witness and his companion found worn trails and a footprint but no clear tracks.

The witness and companions were cooking catfish at a hunting camp when a noise came from the well where fish guts had been left. The witness went toward the well with a light and rifle, heard a moan, and saw a large dark form that stood upright. After shouting warnings and firing shots in the air, the witness said the form moved off and footsteps were heard in leaves. The next day large five-toed tracks were found at the well and most of the guts were gone.

The witness and a companion were inside the home at a table when they heard a noise at a window. A figure appeared at another window very close to the witness's face and remained for a couple minutes before walking away to the east. A relative who arrived later found footprints behind the house.

The witness fled on foot as the creature dropped to all fours and appeared to cut him off, then he found large tracks with his brother.

The witness, a child at the time, was inside a mobile home with family and a family friend late at night. A heavy thud on the side and prolonged pounding on the door were heard, and the friend saw a tall hair-covered figure looking in through a window. The group hid and screamed, called for help, and the noises stopped; prints were found outside the next morning.

While tracking hogs the group crossed Sasquatch prints and followed them to dugouts under a bank. The guest looked up and saw two figures watching him and called companions over. All watched them as one moved its head between the group and the other figure, while he attempted to film.

Three people toured a remote site and heard a wood knock, then heard loud crashing and footsteps rushing toward them. They retreated and a light stopped the approach about ten feet away before it turned and walked off. The next day they found medium and very large tracks by a broken leaning tree.

A few years before the interview the guest walked a forest road at night in deep East Texas to see if an animal would follow him. After hiding by cane and waiting between pines, he fired his thermally sighted rifle at a heat signature following him. The animal screamed loudly, crashed through brush and splashed across a creek, and was tracked for two days with no blood or hair found.

Further down by a beaver dam he found a fresh large human-like footprint in mud with clear toes and no arch. He and his friend fetched a digital camera and photographed it with his size 13 shoe for scale.
