Broken trees and possible print found after swaying animal evades hunters near Grovespring
Two companions scouting a conservation area spotted a large dark bipedal figure about 150 to 200 yards away on a trail. The figure crouched, swayed, then moved quickly to the right and disappeared. The men went to the spot and found a very large fresh footprint and freshly broken small trees.

The witness was staying at his uncle's cattle farm to shoot a suspected coyote stealing chickens. From a barn loft at night he watched a tall bipedal creature emerge from the tree line and move very quickly toward the coops. After he shouted, it growled, screamed and charged the barn, shaking it, while he fired dozens of rounds down at it before it fled to the woods. No blood was found, only partial tracks, and a conservation officer told them to keep quiet.

The witness and her daughter's friend drove past a huge gray-skinned creature standing in a highway ditch with its back to the road. It stayed motionless in the headlights and appeared to be rummaging in trash. The next day the witness and her parents found large footprints with toes in mud and took photos showing a tree bend, an X, rock clacking sounds, and a possible face figure on the ridge.

The witness was driving home from fishing with two companions around 12:50 a.m. when they spotted a large hair-covered figure with its head in a roadside trash can. The witness was camping alone in a tall tent when something large approached at night. A tall shadow with broad shoulders was cast on the tent by an outside lantern. The visitor opened food containers, ate bread, growled, overturned a cooler and carried off meat before leaving toward the river where vocalizations were heard. Large footprints and teeth marks were found the following morning.

A short time later while sitting alone on a swing set he watched a reddish-brown creature part bushes about 50 yards away and stare at him for about a minute, moving its mouth, before backing away.

The next day the witness and a sibling found large footprints around the house and estimated the creature's height from the window measurement. A family camping at Sunrise Beach heard branch-breaking sounds overnight and the next morning found a very large footprint in a dried creek bed. Shortly after, they saw a large brownish hair-covered creature watching them from behind a tree on a hillside, which then walked away toward the campground road. The father also reported seeing it cross the road ahead while lifting a wire out of its way, and the family quickly left the area.

The witness and a companion returned to camp in the morning and then hiked a forest trail. At a spring they noticed a large heel-like print. About a mile farther, the witness saw a tall, reddish, long-haired biped run up a wooded hill and disappear. The companion did not see it, and the two left the area.

The creature stepped over a hog-pen fence and walked away to the west. Later that day the witness found large five-toed footprints near the barn, and the household heard loud banging and howling sounds around the property through the following winter and spring without seeing the creature again.
