The teenage son was watching police lights from a car in the driveway late at night and turned to see a human-like shape peeking over a hedge by a fence. He brought his mother out with a weak flashlight and both saw the shape looking at them in moonlight. The next day they found all grass smashed where it stood and a path leading up into the woods with no trail toward the house or road.

They also reported white eyeshine, a pungent odor, a dark figure seen in the treeline after daylight, and footprints and torn branches found in the morning.

The witness's husband and another adult were sitting with boys camping in the woods on a moonlit night when the husband noticed a figure moving between trees, with moonlight visible between its legs. They heard sticks breaking, left quickly, later returned to find the track destroyed by their vehicle, and subsequent visits produced no further sightings.
