The witness was night fishing from a dock when an otter nearby suddenly fled. The witness then saw a large grey shape move quickly and silently between cover, followed by a large splash near the dock. Frightened, the witness left immediately and found large four-toed footprints on a return visit the next day.

Around 1-2 a.m. the witness went to retrieve bags from a car near a carport and heard a snorting grunt. Backlit by a carport light, he saw a large wide shape that vocalized again, circled with him as he retrieved a rifle, then left toward the woods. Next morning he found disturbed ground suggesting large bipedal steps.

Late one evening in April 2011 the witness returned home from dinner next door and walked toward the unfinished garage addition. He saw a very tall dark figure standing behind his SUV at the garage entrance for a few seconds before running back inside for a gun. He and a relative searched the yard and found no one, but noticed several very large wet footprints on the concrete with a wide stride.

From a sixth-floor hotel balcony before dawn, the witness watched a tall hair-covered biped for five to six minutes at a distance. The being stared, rocked side to side, and repeatedly leaned to pull bark from a large pine tree. Afterward the witness fetched security and later returned in daylight to find fresh bark, deep ground indentations, and possible scat.

Four young men camped on a companion's land and heard approaching grunts, heavy footsteps and foul odor across a creek at dusk. After a rock was thrown toward the unseen sounds, something shrieked, circled the camp and emitted a loud high-pitched scream, prompting them to leave and later return with a parent. The primary witness heard noises again overnight, and the next morning the group found large footprints, hair and a bedding area before the primary witness briefly saw a tall hair-covered upright creature that looked at him and ran away.

The witness was looking after his girlfriend and her younger brother when the locked front door knob was jiggled. After leaving to call police from his parents’ house, he stepped outside with a flashlight and saw a tall off-white muscular human-shaped figure standing in the weedy field in moonlight. The figure vanished when he raised the light again, and he later found the weeds mashed down where it stood.

Two coworkers driving to work encountered an upright wolf-like creature standing beside the road. It watched them as they nearly stopped beside it, then crossed behind them and ran up a steep bank. The witness later visited the site and found tracks showing it scaled a high dirt bank in two leaps.
