The witness was hunting hogs from a tree stand at sunrise when he watched a large hairy biped stalk hogs from tree to tree. The animal charged on all fours, killed a hog with blows, then carried it off while exchanging whooping calls with another unseen individual. It paused to stare at the witness before leaving. A hunting partner nearby heard the attack scream and whoops.

After hearing tree breaks, movement, strange noises and heavy footsteps, the witness saw a large red bipedal animal walk along the road. The witness was bowfishing from a boat when he noticed an upright, hair-covered entity standing on the bank about thirty yards away. When the entity turned toward him it gave a loud high-pitched scream, then walked away into the woods while the witness watched and slapped the water with a paddle. The witness described the walk as stooped with bent knees and swinging arms.

The witness, then 15, was hunting with his father on remote public land in East Texas. On the final evening he heard a loud knock then prolonged screaming directed at him and footsteps circling behind him. A creature stuck its head through brush 20 yards away and stared at him until his father's vehicle approached, when it ran off screaming. He fled, was physically ill for days, and avoided deep woods afterward.

In early July 1988 the witness was alone at a summer camp when rustling and screams were heard from a rocky ledge above and a white upright figure was glimpsed moving behind trees. Two companions ran down the hill saying they had encountered a large white humanoid ape-like creature with long arms on a trail that screamed and fled after eye contact. The companions were shaken for hours but later denied the incident, and the witness remains uncertain whether it was a costumed person or a real creature.

The witness collided with a large hair-covered creature and both the creature and the two companions screamed. The pair fled in panic over the cliff edge and survived the fall, while other campers heard the screams and saw the fall.

Late at night in 1963, the witness and four companions were hunting raccoons with dogs in a creek bottom south of Tyler, Texas. After the dogs treed something, the group illuminated a large reddish-furred animal in a pin oak that was howling and screaming while waving its arms and shaking limbs. After someone fired at it with a .22, it growled and the group fled with the dogs back to their vehicles.

A few years before the interview the guest walked a forest road at night in deep East Texas to see if an animal would follow him. After hiding by cane and waiting between pines, he fired his thermally sighted rifle at a heat signature following him. The animal screamed loudly, crashed through brush and splashed across a creek, and was tracked for two days with no blood or hair found.

The dog acted fearful, livestock were huddled, and the woods were silent before a foul odor, heavy thumps, a branch break, growls and a scream occurred. The witness then saw large red eyes and a huge upright figure at close range, froze in terror and prayed, then fled to the truck without clear memory of the retreat, later finding the dog on the road and abandoning the rifle.

It threw a large log that narrowly missed, while another presence moved to the side. Pine cones and rocks struck the witness, who fired and hit the creature center mass, watched it fall groaning, then found bloody fluid on the ground the next day.

In a flashlight beam the witness saw a huge tall creature distinguished by massive upright pointed ears. His uncle fired a shotgun and it gave the same loud girthy scream heard on the Fourth of July, after which his father carried him running back to the house.
