Late at night three people walking on a gravel road smelled a strong foul odor. When they returned to the spot, a tall creature stood up from the roadside ditch, frightening them and causing them to flee. As they ran home they saw deer in a nearby cornfield and heard an extremely loud screeching-howling sound.

Two children playing hide-and-seek ran into an alley and came face to face with a tall, dark-haired bipedal animal about fifteen feet away walking toward them. The animal screamed loudly without slowing or changing direction, prompting the children to scream and run home. They were not pursued and did not encounter it again.
