Camping family glimpses a grey animal twice in three days
The witness was camping with kids on Oak Creek in July 2005. On two nights after 10 p.m. the witness and her daughter saw a short grey slender shape dash behind trees and run toward cover near the river, followed once by a thud and high-pitched shrieks. The family also heard patterned rock clicks and nearby walking and breathing, and noticed a skunk-like odor. The family became frightened and packed to leave.
Possible nighttime sighting outside a home near Christopher Creek
The witness was staying alone in a trailer and went uphill to check what triggered a house motion light. He reports seeing a giant upright human-like silhouette near the house that made a loud howl/scream/growl directed at him before turning toward the forest. He ran back to his trailer and found no clear footprints the next morning due to dry ground.
Sasquatch sighting in Arizona (1976)
The witness was riding in a truck with family members to a familiar camping area when they came around a corner and saw a creature drinking at a pool. It first moved on all fours with its hindquarters raised and walking sideways while watching them, then stood and ran on two legs leaning forward with no arm swing and a smooth gliding motion. The father stopped, got out and fired several pistol shots as it fled around a bend, after which it gave a loud roar or scream. The group continued to camp for three days, during which the father remained nervous and jumped up armed during the night.
Scream near Payson, Arizona
The witness camped with four others and dogs near a stream. During the day they heard distant screams and at night saw faint red, green, blue and white lights moving down a hill. They heard single and multi-note whistles from multiple directions closing in, heard movement in the stream and road, saw a black mass run through brush, and left hurriedly after a whistle was answered back.
