The witness was mowing a lawn when rocks were repeatedly thrown toward them, accompanied by a foul odor and laughter-like sounds. They then saw a very tall creature behind a tree and fled toward a door. Looking back, they saw it running through trees and brush.

Over following months they heard screams and knocks, found a large footprint with ridges, a distressed horse, and disturbed hay resembling a nest in the barn loft. Two men heard something walk around and shake their cabin corner, heard a frightful noise, saw it walk away, shot and missed. Later a similar visit at dawn ended with the creature hurling a four-pound rock after being shot at.

Miners reported a seven-foot hairy wild man repeatedly shaking cabins at night and making frightful noise. Shots failed to stop it. On one morning it shook a door, was shot at, and retaliated by throwing a four-pound rock before vanishing.

The guest's Special Forces friend said his 12-man team was called to hunt an aggressive animal near Fort Lewis. They tracked through the Mount Hood area, cornered one of several animals, shot it, and removed it by helicopter. He described it as enormous, muscular, human-featured, fast, and known to throw boulders and use sticks.

At age 15 the witness stayed home with her friend while her parents went hunting. After shutting the chicken coop door they saw a big white figure 75 to 100 yards away near the fence, visible from the waist up. A rock from that direction landed at the witness's feet, so both girls ran to the house, where the friend hit a clothesline, then locked up inside.
