Possible nighttime activity during a hog hunt on a ranch near Bryson
The witness and three relatives were hog hunting at night from two positions separated by several hundred yards. Around midnight they heard bipedal footsteps, grunting, whistling, whoops and reciprocal tree knocks, smelled a strong foul odor, and had small sticks thrown at their position. After a shot was fired into the ground, heavy running was heard moving toward the second position where glowing eyes were seen, and the group left around 2 a.m.

The animal stood upright, revealing a very tall, broad, dark-brown hairy human-like form, and the driver got out and shouted at it. The witness hiked into the national forest in late afternoon to photograph woods and wildlife and waited near a utility clearing. After briefly seeing a juvenile bear emerge and retreat, the witness turned and noticed a large upright human-like shape close by in thick brush. A tree trunk snapped and fell toward the witness, who fled to the car and drove away, later concluding the shape might have been a Sasquatch.

After a deep growl and handgun shots, they were confronted at the treeline by two large hairy figures that stomped, rocked, and threw branches. It threw a large log that narrowly missed, while another presence moved to the side. A boy riding a bike home in the evening felt watched and saw a gorilla-like figure close behind him. The figure grabbed the bike, threw the rider over the handlebars, stared and flexed its lips to show teeth, then the rider fled and called authorities. Authorities later found the bike with a bent frame placed high in a tree with a small amount of blood on it.

He knelt and put his shotgun in its midsection but did not fire when it backed off, then it screamed, circled the camp throwing trees, iron-ore rocks and dirt while they kept a bonfire burning until early morning.

Through night vision a companion reportedly saw five figures standing together across the water, prompting rapid packing and departure through the locked gate.

They stayed inside while multiple creatures vocalized around them until a supervisor arrived about 45 minutes later.
