Eighteen campers find hut; videotape distressed bigfoot walking down mountain ridge
A large camping group found a hut-like structure made of snapped boughs and filmed it in detail. While examining the structure, a group member pointed out a distant figure moving along a ridge. The witness videotaped the figure for several minutes as it moved back and forth, gestured, and disappeared behind rocks.
Howl near Mount Laguna, California (1994)
The witness and his wife spent a weekend camping in 1994 at Laguna Mountain where the campground was empty. At night they heard wolf-like howls and the next day on a desert trail they found crossed dead trees, heard loud animal cries, and watched a distant reddish hair-covered figure standing and slamming backward into a tree, which they first took for a bear. A ranger insisted there were no wolves or bears in the area. On the second night rustling around the tent and sudden overwhelming fear caused them to abandon camp and drive home in the early morning.

Teamsters camping by a lake reported a ghost-like naked figure stealing scraps and plunging into the water when spoken to or shot at. In fall 1871 men saw it clearly as a large hairy man eating scraps. Investigators later found a cave with rags, bones, and a dead naked man.
