Something in low brush paralleled her as she moved toward the truck, stopping when she stopped. On the fourth stop a dark head peeked out and blinked before she fled to her husband at the mine.

The property owner was hunting from a tree stand when something stepped out of the tree line, walked along it, and went back into the woods. The sighting frightened him enough that he later asked for company to retrieve his stand. He subsequently contacted researchers to investigate the property.

He also saw a large upright human-shaped silhouette move quickly and silently between trees about 50 yards away. He concluded a second individual made the uphill sounds while the seen one moved downhill.

While walking back on a trail, the guest's partner felt followed, stopped, pretended to tie a shoe, then glimpsed a fast-moving brownish-black humped figure about four to five feet off the ground. It ran behind a tree and down a small valley in one to two seconds. The guest was wearing a headset looking ahead and saw nothing.

While searching alone for an old cemetery shown on topo maps, the witness crossed a stream, became disoriented, saw shimmering, had compass spin and time discrepancies, and glimpsed a black figure darting. Reviewing footage at home he saw a tall black antler-headed figure by a tree. Contacts later told him it was a dogman tied to burial grounds.

He compared it to his brother and estimated about seven feet tall. Both he and his wife then heard heavy footsteps moving through leaves toward them, which stopped as they talked.
