Sasquatch sighting near Brookings, Oregon (2016)
In November 2016 the witness was driving slowly with his wife, newborn son and a friend toward the Ludlum House along the Winchuck River to sightsee. At a bend he looked down into the creek and saw an upright, furry dark-brown figure standing in mid-water that looked up over its shoulder at the car and then looked away. On the drive back the figure was gone and he later found no stump in that spot, and since then he reports an uneasy watched feeling past about mile eight.
Young camper frightened by large hand gathering berries
The witness was camping with family in a wooded Oregon area near a shallow river and was playing outside a camper while two relatives napped. After hearing underbrush rustle and noticing a small sapling bend, the witness moved closer and saw a large hairy hand reach from behind berry brush to grab berries from about 8 to 10 feet away. The witness ran back to camp without seeing the rest of the creature and later described the hand as clearly a hand rather than a paw.
Full-body sighting in Oregon
The caller and her husband were camping off logging roads near the Oregon coast, with friends in a tent by the river and the couple sleeping in the truck. She felt stared at and terrified and blocked the windows, then her husband hurried into the truck saying he had seen a whitish-gray thing about four feet high and five feet long moving on all fours as if gliding. Both remained scared in the truck without investigating.
Daytime sighting by young camper at Lost Lake
While hiking near a creek behind a store at Lost Lake, the witness saw a crouched dark-gray figure that looked like a fallen tree or stump. The witness left to retrieve a camera, marking the spot with a rock pile. When returning about 15 minutes later, the figure was gone and the rock pile had been knocked over. A companion was also present and saw the figure.
