The researcher and a companion saw a distant dark upright figure cross a powerline cut in about five seconds. It was too far for positive identification. He states if it was a man he has never seen one, and if Sasquatch then he has seen one.

The witness, a newspaper carrier, was stopped by the road in the dark reviewing a route sheet. A figure approached the vehicle from the passenger side to within a few feet, appearing curious and focused on the inside of the vehicle, then crossed the road. The encounter lasted less than a minute, after which the witness drove away quickly and called emergency services.

The witness was driving past a marshy wetland area beside a highway during morning rush hour and peered into the woods and fields. About 200-250 yards away near a creek, the witness saw a dark upright human-like silhouette standing motionless for 4-5 seconds, apparently looking down. Unable to discern fine detail, the witness could not rule out a tree trunk or person, but on revisiting the spot on later days the shape was gone.

Two companions hiking a trail to pick berries rounded a corner and saw a tall dark furry figure about 40-50 yards ahead moving away through palmettos, with only the upper body visible. The companion reported loud thrashing and breaking vegetation while the reporting witness recalled no sound. After about half a minute they fled the area in fright.

The witness and two companions were camping by a river and went upstream climbing rocks to find a spot to jump into the water. Across the river they noticed movement in a brush-filled crevasse and watched a large dark-haired figure crouching and then climbing upward on its hind legs while holding trees and rocks. After losing sight of it in dense vegetation, they returned to camp and cut the trip short.

The witness pulled off a highway west of Cody in late afternoon to hike north through timber and rocky outcrops. Over about an hour the witness heard rocks rolling, brush breaking and movement that seemed to follow and stop with them. While returning toward the road the witness turned to see an upright, brown, long-haired animal about 60-70 yards away that immediately leapt into dense timber. The witness was uncertain whether the sounds and sighting involved the same animal and noted a bear as a possible alternative, only later considering Bigfoot after finding a website.

Four men were driving south late at night towing a loaded travel trailer when a tall dark form ran toward the road on two feet. The car passed in front of it, but the trailer struck it with enough force to lift the trailer off the ground. The occupants stopped, backed up, and inspected the vehicles and roadway but found no body, blood, hair, or damage.

The witness was working horses near the barn on an overcast afternoon when the mares looked toward the woods. The witness saw an upright light-grey figure at the tree line, first thought to be a teenager in a heavy coat, but noted long hair-like covering and non-human swaying. The figure disappeared within 10 to 15 seconds without being seen walking away.

The witness was driving alone late at night on Interstate 75 south of Cincinnati when headlights illuminated a tall dark-furred bipedal figure standing in a recess of a road cut. The figure, estimated at 6 to 6.5 feet tall, stood motionless with arms raised to shoulder height and stared at the car for a few seconds as the witness passed within about 15-20 feet. The witness described an angry humanlike face without a bear-like muzzle and felt frightened.

Two companions stopped on an unused dead-end road late at night. While one waited in the truck with the high beams on, a tall brown man-shaped animal appeared in the light. It stood still for about a minute, made a grunt sound, then turned and walked away with an unusual swaggering gait. The pair left the area in reverse, frightened by what they saw.

A couple driving at night with their child came upon a tall dark-haired figure walking in a gully alongside the highway. They passed it slowly and viewed it peripherally for about ten seconds, noting its height above the van and its large jawed face. They continued driving and later stopped to recover and discuss what they had seen.

The witness was driving home from work at night in rain and noticed a large brown figure walking along the roadside. At first the figure was mistaken for a large man in rain gear, but on getting closer the witness judged it far too large for a person and thought it might be a Bigfoot-type creature. The witness later returned to the spot but found nothing there.

The witness was pausing on a bike ride on a forest road while waiting for a young relative riding behind. Something dark with a reddish tone emerged from the woods, crossed the road in a step and a leap, then hopped a fence and disappeared. The witness estimated it as much taller than the witness.

The witness was walking alone during a work break to look for arrowheads when he heard movement and grunts near a creek. He briefly saw a large dark man-shaped figure about 6 to 7 feet tall standing in dense woods before it turned and crashed away. He left quickly and initially tried to explain it as a stray horse.

On August 1, 1990, a woman at a mobile home near Eldon, Oklahoma reported hearing noises and smelling a bad odor before seeing a very tall, heavy creature. A deputy later found large impressions at the scene. Two days later, two other residents reported a similar upright animal at a trash pile nearby.

A black entity about the witness's height ran very fast down the hill about 50 yards away and disappeared in about five seconds, with breaking deadfall heard as it left. The witness was startled, thought it might have been watching, and later wondered if it was a large bear or loose livestock.

The witness was home watching a baseball game when a strange noise from the back porch prompted investigation with a pistol. The witness reported seeing a large dark upright shadow-like figure running toward the woods, firing shots, then seeing it again near an old stable and firing again without hitting it. Afterwards the witness found a porch freezer broken into with frozen food scattered, plus white hairs and ground impressions.

The witness was walking at night with a flashlight to fetch ice when dogs began barking loudly. A very large hair-covered biped ran from behind a house toward the woods, then rushed to the road edge, stared with glowing eyes and made a loud growling sound. The witness screamed and fled home, and a search the next day found no tracks.
Encounter with Juvenile Creature
In 1979 the witness had moved ahead of a hiking group in the Adirondacks to watch beavers and was walking back to the main trail. Something flushed from thick brush ran diagonally toward the witness on the trail, pounding loudly and wailing like a woman screaming, and was seen partially as a fast, upright furry figure about four and a half feet tall. The witness initially assumed a bear cub but later doubted that because it ran upright for about 150 feet and the vocalization resembled sounds associated with Bigfoot reports.
Young camper frightened by large hand gathering berries
The witness was camping with family in a wooded Oregon area near a shallow river and was playing outside a camper while two relatives napped. After hearing underbrush rustle and noticing a small sapling bend, the witness moved closer and saw a large hairy hand reach from behind berry brush to grab berries from about 8 to 10 feet away. The witness ran back to camp without seeing the rest of the creature and later described the hand as clearly a hand rather than a paw.
