The witness and a companion were fishing from shore at a remote northern campground when they watched a tall, reddish-brown, hairy creature stand and walk down an embankment on a peninsula. After discussing the sighting and finding nearby cabins boarded and barricaded, they heard heavy footsteps and a loud growl escalating to a scream near their tent that night. They spent the night in their truck and left early the next morning.

The witness and girlfriend walked onto a moonlit golf course green late at night. A large tree began thrashing with loud grunts, yells and a lion-like scream. They ran downhill to the car as a tall hairy wide-shouldered creature dropped, pursued and flanked them, and they escaped by driving to town.

While stuck out in the woods without a vehicle, the witness and a cameraman watched two orbs come down above power lines, veer toward them, then drop into a thorny thicket. As they walked past the thicket a low growl was heard. The segment was being filmed for the television show.

The witness and a cousin were catching fireflies near the tree line by a family cabin after others went inside. They heard a loud snarl and saw a tall upright silhouette leaning against a tree. Both fled to the cabin, and the witness never discussed it with the cousin afterward.
