They found a 14 to 14.5-inch track off the main trail, followed back-and-forth walking in palmettos, and the son then saw a very tall creature for four to six seconds and drew it. They saw a tall black figure at the driveway and later at the firelight edge, had hickory nuts thrown uphill at them, heard limb breaking, and at about 5 a.m. something pressed down on their tent breaking a pole before running off.
