After a long silence he saw yellow eyeshine in the gully, then a large hairy upright figure by a tree, followed by a second smaller eyeshine, thumping sounds and a long loud howl. While driving slowly away down a rocky track he felt something shunt the back of his car but saw nothing when he braked.

The witness watched an entity at the bottom for about thirty seconds before it moved and turned toward them, then took two steps forward as the witness backed away. After the dog barked forcefully the entity stepped back, and the witness left while hearing it climb out of the ravine and move through the woods.

The witness stopped at a closed gas station around 1 a.m. while driving home and walked behind the building to urinate. He sensed a presence, looked back while returning to his vehicle, and saw a large hairy animal crouched nearby. The animal then stood, moved away rapidly with heavy footsteps, and disappeared toward a treeline as the witness fled to his vehicle.
