The pair kept their distance and walked out to the road, feeling the animal was agitated and territorial and did not follow them.

He reported the creature looking in on him, leaving meat, a headless rabbit and herbs he boiled, then carrying him down the canyon over hours or days until a couple in a converted school bus found him and got him to a hospital.

While driving to work in the early morning the witness saw heat lightning behind him and then a bright neon-blue flash revealing a large oval object in the clouds ahead. About 20 to 30 seconds later a tall thin wolf-like biped sprinted from a mowed field across the road in one stride. It leaped about 20 feet into a tree over a creek, spun, steadied itself with a hand, and stared at him as he passed with high beams on.

While camped on BLM land near Badlands National Park, the couple heard distressed cows for hours and noticed one dog refuse to leave the truck. During a moonlit walk they lay down to look at stars, their dog barked, and they saw a very large black canine-like figure about sixty yards away with no eye shine that seemed to absorb flashlight beams while panting loudly. A second closer larger figure seen by the boyfriend flanked them, both followed the couple about a quarter mile back toward camp before disappearing, after which cows vocalized again.

The figure tapped on the glass and motioned for her to come outside, then moved to a second window behind her head and tapped there. As a child about 10 to 12 the witness was picking raspberries alone very early in the morning on her grandparents' farm near Round Lake, Minnesota. Within a few feet she noticed a very large reddish-brown hairy figure with two smaller figures on the other side of the bushes, all quietly picking berries and then crouching into tight balls with faces turned away. She kept picking past them, retreated slowly to the house, and told her grandfather, who fired shots but found nothing; as an adult she interprets them as a Sasquatch family.
