Early morning sighting by newspaper deliverer near Mountain View

Early one lightly snowing morning in November 2005 the witness was driving a newspaper route into Mountain View when she saw a large bulky biped walking toward her and crossing the road diagonally toward brushy trees. She drove to where it entered the brush and stopped, but saw and heard nothing, though she felt uneasy and stared at. She estimated it was 7 to 9 feet tall, larger than a man, with slightly long arms and its head tipped slightly down.

Hunter spots three upright walking creatures

The witness was deer hunting alone from a camp and stopped to rest beside an unused dirt road. After standing, he saw a tall dark shape move in front of him, then spotted three large hairy bipeds moving quickly away through spruce trees. He watched them for less than a minute from behind, noted their height and broad shoulders, then found only trampled grass and no footprints on hard ground.

Brown creature on 2 feet runs off with part of hunter's kill

The witness shot a deer in a canyon bottom and left it to retrieve a knife from a pickup truck on the hill. On returning to within about 20 feet, the witness found the carcass disturbed with organs strewn and a hind quarter missing. The witness then saw a dark bipedal creature on the hill carrying meat away.

Backyard nighttime sighting in a village outside Rome

The witness and her mother heard a whistle around 2 a.m. and went outside to check. From near their elevated pool deck, they shone a flashlight on an unknown figure with red eyes positioned just above deck level. The figure moved its head to avoid the light, then walked away while repeatedly looking back and briefly peeking from behind a neighbor's shed.

The witness was driving with two relatives in the evening looking for moose. A tall, heavily built, dark-haired bipedal figure crossed the road about 50 feet ahead of the car in two strides. The witness and one relative saw it while the other relative did not. The figure turned its head toward the car as it crossed.

Daylight sighting by squirrel hunter near Spring Valley

The witness left his truck to hunt squirrels and noticed movement about 175 feet away through brush, fence and creek. What first looked like a large flapping turkey stood up on two legs and ran very fast and quietly, followed by a larger reddish animal that briefly stumbled then sprinted after it into thick brush toward the swamp. The witness crossed to the spot, found only soft indentations, followed briefly toward the swamp, then left after becoming frightened that the animals might have circled behind him.

Bigfoot sighted near creek by spear fishermen.

Two companions were warming by a fire after spear fishing along a creek on a moonlit snowy night around 1 a.m. They watched a figure emerge from the creek, move toward the woods and back to the bank, kneel as if tearing and eating something, then stand upright, look at them, and walk away up the creek. They judged it was not a bear because it walked like a human and not a person because it carried no lantern or spear.

Three coworkers riding in a golf cart while collecting flags passed within a few feet of a tall pale human-like figure beside the path near hole 13. They drove past, confirmed they had all seen something, and turned back; two of them saw it again peeking from behind the elevated tee box before it moved out of sight. They left, returned minutes later in an enclosed cart, and heard repeated creaking sounds nearby before leaving the area.

Creature watched feeding at wildlife refuge

The witness and two companions were walking wildlife trails at a refuge when the witness noticed a large dark figure picking up corn. On closer watching they concluded it was not a man, noting very long arms, no apparent neck, and a very wide build. The creature fed and then walked into nearby woods remarkably silently, after which the group left.

A female employee arrived for an early-morning shift and saw a very tall figure covered in hair or fur near a dumpster. The figure stared at her and then left, while she remained frozen with fear. She later quit because she was too frightened to arrive alone at that hour.

The witness was traveling on remote logging roads with two family members when they came around a corner and encountered a creature on a steep hillside. The creature first moved uphill away from them on all fours, then continued traversing the slope on two legs, using an arm for balance. The witness claimed familiarity with bears, stated this was not a bear, and described it as very human-like.

The driver was turning left when deer ran across the road and the passenger shouted about something to the west. The driver only glimpsed a large dark upright shape already entering the tree line. The passenger, seated on the right side with a clearer view, believed it was a sasquatch chasing the deer.

Possible encounter with sled dog caretakers at an outdoor freezer near Isabella

The witness and a companion were working late at night preparing meat to feed sled dogs. While inside a walk-in freezer, the heavy door shut on them unexpectedly despite calm conditions. After exiting, they shone a light toward a trailer and saw a pair of very large reflective eyes about seven feet off the ground roughly twenty yards away. The eyes were gone after they returned with a brighter light, and the dogs that had been barking fell silent.

Sasquatch sighting in Pennsylvania (2005)

The witness was squirrel hunting and scouting for deer season along a logging road in Pennsylvania. After sitting on a boulder by a stream, he noticed a large dark figure partially hidden between pine trees about 50 to 75 yards away staring at him. When he reached for his shotgun the figure slipped back between the trees and disappeared silently, and he later estimated its height at about nine feet by holding up his gun to a branch.

The witness was driving with a companion toward a campsite at night when the truck's high beams lit up a tall hairy biped beside the road. The figure did not turn toward the vehicle and climbed up a hillside out of view within seconds. The pair continued to camp, where the witness later heard prolonged howling calls while the companion slept.

Two people were documenting what they thought was a nest, one with binoculars and the other with a camcorder. One of them reported seeing two small dark figures walk quickly single-file from behind a tree toward the nest area, which the camera operator did not see firsthand. The pair videotaped a large footprint and later observed a dark silhouette with shoulders, head and partial facial features on the tape.

The witness stopped at a locked gate about four miles from a logging job and saw two apelike figures standing together in the road about 600 feet ahead. The animals crossed the road and headed north as the witness opened the gate and drove through. The witness drove to the spot and found no horses, elk, or other animals, noting dry conditions left no tracks.

Possible sighting by duck hunter near Wakaw

The witness had been duck hunting and got his truck stuck in mud, then started walking to find help. While walking along a grid road in rain he saw a large broad-shouldered figure move very fast into a treed valley and disappear after a few strides. At the apparent crossing point he found a single large water-filled footprint. Earlier that day he had found seven dead birds packed under a crop swath a few hundred yards away.

The witness was driving north on Route 271 near a ski resort around 6 p.m. on a clear day when an upright, hairy figure was seen at the top of a hill. The figure had its back turned and walked away toward a tree line and thick woods during a sighting lasting only a few seconds. The witness felt the figure was neither a man nor a bear, recalling dark brown hair that looked matted in places.
