The witness and his young child were turkey hunting in the morning when the witness noticed movement about 600 yards away. He watched through binoculars a tall dark figure walking upright through open grass for a minute or more before it disappeared into brush behind a rise. He estimated it was 6-7 feet tall and covered several hundred meters quickly without running.

On April 29, 2006 the witness was driving southbound on an unfamiliar road after leaving a mall when a deer bolted across the road in front of the car. A dark bipedal figure about six feet tall immediately followed in fast pursuit of the deer across the road and into trees and swamp on the other side. The entire chase lasted under 20 seconds, with exaggerated arm swing and speed that seemed exceptional for uneven terrain.

The witness and a companion were leaving home by car in the morning when they noticed a tall black hair-covered biped walking away down a dirt road. They watched it alternate between the road and ditch until it entered the woods out of sight. Afterward a relative and another person found multiple footprints along the road and photographed the clearest track.

The witness family was driving between Green Lake and Big River around midday when they noticed a very tall brownish-red figure that had crossed the highway. The figure moved across the ditch in a few long, fluid strides with a forward-leaning posture and entered thick bush where it disappeared from view. Occupants of a green caravan traveling ahead appeared to have seen the same figure.

The witness states they were checking corn left for deer along a gas well road with a companion. They turned toward their truck and saw a tall, hairy creature standing by a tree about 30 feet off the road, pushing a branch away from its face to watch them. After staring briefly, the witness told the companion to get in the truck.

In early April 2006 around 2:30 a.m., the witness was inside his trailer when he saw a hairy figure staring through a nearby window. When he tried to shut his front door, something held it open against his push. He retreated, armed himself and woke his wife, but the figure was gone and only muddy fingerprints remained on the window.

As she approached and honked, the animal rose onto its hind legs and ran hunched over into an adjacent field. She stopped to search with her headlights but could not relocate it.

Two companions on an early-morning turkey hunt first heard a limb snap and saw a large dark animal walking away. About half an hour later while calling from a ground blind, the woods went quiet and a short siren-like scream came from behind them. They then saw a large dark furry animal running away through small trees, pushing them aside, and they left the area.

The witness was driving west on a highway in Taney County, Missouri on a sunny afternoon when he noticed a large black biped standing by a large tree about 50 yards from the road. He described it as at least nine feet tall and very wide, with long thick fur and a conical head set tight to the shoulders, and was certain it was not a bear. He drove back the next day, saw nothing, and took the absence as confirmation the figure had been real.

In spring 2006 the witness was touring a large ranch in a converted school bus with county review staff. While the bus slowed for hogs, the witness looked across a flooded pasture and saw a tall, dark-haired bipedal figure standing on a small rise about 125 to 150 yards away. The figure was visible for a few seconds before vegetation blocked the view, turning its upper body toward the bus as it passed while apparently holding something in its arms.

While riding ATVs, the witness and two companions came around a corner and saw a large dark upright figure standing on the trail ahead watching them. As they approached closer, the figure turned and jogged into the woods beside the trail. They went to the spot where it entered the woods and found several large footprints in the sand but did not see it again.

The girlfriend was driving home from an overnight shift when a reddish-brown figure estimated at 7 to 8 feet tall crossed the road ahead of her from south to north. Slowing for what was thought to be a deer, the witness realized at close range it was very tall, man-like with arms, and covered in light-colored hair. As the van passed, the creature appeared to lunge toward the vehicle with its shoulders above the van roof, and the witness sped away frightened.

The witness was driving alone at night on a two-lane highway when the headlights revealed a tall hair-covered figure standing on the edge line. The figure stayed motionless and stiff as the car passed very close, with the sighting lasting about ten seconds. The witness continued driving without stopping and later told relatives, who were skeptical.

The witness then saw a tall, muscular, dark-furred figure standing in shallow water near trees about 50 yards from the road. The witness was driving slowly through S-turns on Highway 199 late at night with high beams on. The headlights illuminated a very large hairy biped walking on the opposite side of the road facing away. The witness watched it for a few seconds while passing close by but did not turn around for a frontal view because of the narrow canyon road and fear. The witness continued driving and later documented the sighting.

The witness and daughter exited the back of the house after a rainstorm and noticed a foul odor like rotten eggs and garbage. The witness then heard a deep growl and saw a tall hair-covered figure about 25 feet away step from behind a pecan tree into plain view. They observed each other for about two minutes before the figure turned and ran.

The guest, new to the area and driving home late in an old diesel dually, coasted slowly around a sharp curve in a narrow canyon. He saw a huge upright figure walking on the roadside, watched it for several seconds, then drove past within about eight feet while looking up at it. The witness claimed to be driving a tractor-trailer toward Portland when he saw a large, very bulky human-like figure covered in long reddish-brown hair in a gravel pull-off about four miles past Camp 18 restaurant. He estimated the height at about 8.5 feet using his elevated viewpoint from the truck. Traveling at about 50 mph, he could not see the face, felt scared, and did not return.
