Friends of the witness were fishing under a bridge by a nature sanctuary in Midland County and, while leaving for their cars in the dark, one reported seeing red eyes about eight feet up in the trees that appeared to swirl. The other friend suggested a bear. The witness was told about it about a month before the show.

At about age nine, the witness and his seven-year-old brother were hacking small trees with hatchets near their house when the brother screamed. The witness saw a black hairy creature standing on a hill that cocked its head as if confused, then ran to the side through the woods. Both boys ran screaming back to the house.

The witness was driving alone on a highway in the morning and noticed what looked like a backpacker with hiking poles on the shoulder. The figure crossed the road in a few long strides with odd bobbing motion, and sunlight revealed a wide-shouldered, dark-coated biped with no pack. The witness drove to the crossing point but could no longer see it in the thinned forest.

The guest's grandfather was working cutting railroad ties in West Virginia early one morning when brush began shaking violently. A very tall, hairy creature emerged and screamed at the crew, towering over the grandfather. The crew fled to get a supervisor and on returning found only very large footprints, described as twice the grandfather's foot length. The experience reportedly disturbed the grandfather enough that he moved his family to Ohio.

The next day the family found huge human-like but three-toed footprints crossing the fence and ditch to a dirt road, with long strides, including an imprint in soft rock. They also found coarse brown hair on the fence wire that smelled bad.

At night with windows open, the witness heard heavy footsteps breaking limbs and crunching leaves approach the bedroom window, then loud breathing in and out. The witness was paralyzed with fear until the mother pulled the witness from bed. After something struck the back of the house hard, the witness, mother, and grandmother saw a huge brown-haired form blocking the dining room window before it moved sideways toward the bedroom.

The witness and a friend were quail hunting on the family property and heard steps following them through dense woods. After crossing a fence they watched a tall hairy biped step over the fence and move between trees to watch them before heading toward a creek. About an hour later the witness returned with older female relatives and saw a different-colored hairy leg and foot watching them from behind trees near the road.

The witness and his older brother were fishing with family at a pond and left to search the ground for rocks and small animals. After hearing a loud crash they saw what looked like a dead tree fall into a deep crevasse. When they reached the edge they saw the tree-like shape running away on the property, and they fled back to their family.
