Around midnight on January 21, 2017 the witness was making calls from the front porch and received a wood knock response from across the street, which drew the dog into the woods. When the dog went quiet the witness entered the woods, beat on an oak and shouted for the dog, then heard knocks, chest-beating, howls, a bluff charge and a tree pushed over while seeing eyeshine. After the witness told the entity to back away, the dog returned and they went home.

Early one morning while driving to a farm job, the witness stopped at an intersection and saw a tall, emaciated, fur-covered figure holding a tree branch in the headlights. The figure stared at the car, then bared worn and broken teeth when the car moved toward it, before the witness drove past within close range. The witness later interpreted the animal as an elderly, starving individual possibly seeking chickens during severe winter weather.

While driving to work in the dark, the witness noticed a bulky shape by the roadside that he first mistook for dumped furniture. As he drove past, it stood up from a squat and faced him, revealing a tall, muscular, hairy chest and arm through the car window. The witness and the relative then walked to the spot, found tracks, and estimated the figure's height at 8 feet from tree marks and the photo.

A tall human-like figure sprinted past within about 30 feet and disappeared in about two seconds without making sound. The witness described it as 7-8 feet tall with massive torso, long arms, dark undercoat with lighter outer hair, running erect with long effortless strides, then chased briefly with a flashlight but saw and heard nothing further.

On the night of April 18, 2020 the witness was at home when a dog began barking persistently and a loud guttural growl was heard at the back door, also noticed by a cat. After waking her husband, who saw nothing from the back door, the witness called the dog from the front door and saw it react toward the back of the property. Looking from a guest-room window, she then watched a huge dark figure moving quickly across the neighbor's pasture to the northwest.

Late at night the witness was returning from taking trash to the dumpster when he saw a tall brownish upright figure moving away from his open garage toward his camper. He lit its upper body with a flashlight and watched it glide silently behind the camper and then into the thick woods without a sound. He retrieved a rifle and searched the woods but found the terrain difficult to cross and found no tracks. A neighbor suggested a bear on its hind legs, but the witness felt the thin human-like form and silent movement did not fit.

The witness was driving home at night when a tall bipedal animal crossed in front of the vehicle and went into the woods across from the house. The animal was described as 7 to 8 feet tall and muscular, covered in matted burgundy to brick-red hair about 4 inches long, with a grayish pale face whose features could not be discerned. The witness thought it might have been scavenging fish along a nearby lake bank.
