While still-hunting uphill alone in misty old growth, the witness first mistook a figure by a large fir for a bear coming down. As it dropped, he saw hands and a face and realized it was not a bear. It went on all fours behind tall ferns about fifty yards away, a loud knock sounded, and it vanished without any visible exit.
Footsteps near Lake Elmo, Minnesota (2000)
During a month-long family camping stay at a park reserve, the group repeatedly heard bipedal footsteps, whistles, growls and mimicked speech, had food and towels taken or moved, and saw a seated silhouette watching the camp. The witness does not label the cause as Bigfoot.

The guest, her younger brother and their new cousin walked to a carved tree on family land. The brother saw a creature watching them from up the ridge and they fled running. As they reached the hayfield the guest heard an extremely loud roar-scream that frightened her.

At sixteen the writer visited relatives at a lake cabin in Minnesota and slept in a cousin's camper. Between 2 and 3 a.m. something thudded the camper, then the witness saw a black-haired human-shaped figure crouching outside with glowing yellow-red eyes. It stood as tall as the roughly ten-foot trailer, growled, then ran away silently, leaving a dent, scratches and dark substance found in the morning.
Cryptid sighting near Burlington, North Carolina (2000)
In 2000 the witness was eating lunch with family at a restaurant in Burlington when she saw a huge flying object at airplane altitude and airplane size moving like a bird, not a plane. It was too high to see details, but she later thought it may have been a pterodactyl.
Sasquatch sighting near Hungry Horse, Montana (2000)
At fourteen the writer and his friend were riding one dirt bike back to the house on Dam Road near Hungry Horse. Far ahead he saw a dark figure walk out of a ditch and off the other side. Comparing to a speed-limit sign and truck cab later, he judged it at least seven feet and concluded it was Bigfoot.
Dog walker reports being paralled at night along dirt road near Sunrise Lake
The witness was walking a dog along a dirt road beside woods at night when a tall bipedal silhouette with orange-ish eyes was seen at the treeline. The figure paralleled the witness, stopping when the witness stopped, and was still visible across the road after the witness ran home. A relative looked but saw nothing, and no trace was found the next day.

Six people were camping at a lakeside site late at night. After most of the group went to bed, the witness entered a tent set very close to the water. The witness and a companion heard splashing and branches moving behind the tent, then the witness saw an elbow-like shape drag down the tent wall. This was followed by loud heavy thuds of something running away from camp.
Close roadside observation of female upright animal along country road
Two companions driving slowly on a dark rural road late at night noticed a large dark figure standing on a steep bank at the road edge. They initially thought it was a large person in dark clothing, but as they passed within a few feet it turned its torso to look at them, showing a broad human-like face with a very wide upturned nose, a large torso with breasts, and a conical head with dark coarse hair. They concluded it did not appear human and continued driving without stopping.

The witness was driving with a relative on a highway through woods at night when headlights illuminated a tall dark bipedal figure standing in the road. The figure bent down, picked up a smaller dark figure, looked toward the car, then carried the smaller figure against its chest while moving quickly on two legs into the woods. Both occupants of the car observed the figure and were left in shock.

On New Year's Day morning the witness was birdwatching off-trail in a Florida state park when they noticed a hairy arm gripping a pine with a nest box about 100 yards away. Through binoculars they watched a hair-covered creature hug the opposite side of the trunk, peeking out and shifting to stay hidden for several minutes. When the witness stepped closer, the creature dropped and fled unseen through saw palmettos, leaving a wake of moving vegetation.

While hunting deer with dogs, the witness stood alone on a dirt road watching the tree line. A tall gray hair-covered figure crossed the road in two strides and continued without reacting to her presence. She left to find another hunter, and later told camp companions who said it was a swamp monkey.

The witness was driving in the early morning with a young child when a hair-covered biped crossed the road in front of the car and paused. The witness stopped a short distance away and watched the figure before it continued across the road and disappeared into roadside vegetation. The figure was described as muscular and wearing a crude covering draped over its shoulders.

The witness was sitting on a car watching tree-clearing work on a summer afternoon in 1999 when she glanced toward the treeline several hundred feet away. She saw a tall reddish manlike figure with no apparent neck standing in the shadows, and a young relative beside her saw the same thing. When she looked back after gesturing to her husband, the figure was gone.

The witness saw an upright light-grey figure at the tree line, first thought to be a teenager in a heavy coat, but noted long hair-like covering and non-human swaying. Three children walking and biking on a wooded bike path near a lake in the afternoon watched a thin grey-haired biped step out of the woods, cross the path, and enter the woods on the other side. The creature did not look at them, vocalize, or act threateningly, and the sighting lasted only seconds. The witnesses then ran back to a house, scared.

A report filed in 2000 described a Bigfoot-type creature at Cobble Mountain Reservoir. It was consistently described as over seven feet tall with broad shoulders and an upright primate form. Some accounts gave it glowing red eyes and others glowing white eyes.
