The witness claims a family group has visited a rural wooded property regularly for nearly two years, typically evenings to early mornings several times a week. Reported activity includes footprints, wood knocks, odors, vocalizations, trail and structure formation, and direct sightings with food exchange and close interactions. An investigator visited the densely brushed property, observed extensive trails and shelter-like spots, and interviewed the household about four to five individuals of different sizes.

A second animal to the east answered with a loud whistle and rapid grunts. After turning on lights the witness saw eyeshine from the creek, lost it, then later saw two pairs of eyes on the far bank that turned and moved away.

He noticed a tall dark figure in 6 to 7 foot grass, whistled at it and heard a different whistle returned. When he looked back the figure was moving away through the weeds, and he ran back to the house.
