Two men came to the witness's farmhouse saying they had just had a nighttime car encounter on a dirt road. A huge black figure stepped into the headlights in front of the car and appeared to have deer antlers. The witness later thought they likely saw a Bigfoot carrying a deer, and the men refused to discuss it further.

A group riding in a bus in the 1970s heard sounds like a lion roaring, then a creature jumped onto the hood and looked through the large front window at the passengers. The front passenger saw it grin and show its teeth before it jumped off with enough force to shake the bus. The witness described it as six to six and a half feet tall, skinny, and intermediate between a chimpanzee and a person.

Fisherman witnesses bigfoot cross the road in front of his car
Shortly before dawn on a foggy morning, the witness was driving toward a fishing area when headlights illuminated a large fur-covered creature in the road. The creature moved across the highway and leapt up a steep roadside embankment estimated at 14 feet high. The witness was badly shaken, stopped at a cafe, and later reported the incident to county authorities.

Two lifelong friends were target shooting with small-caliber rifles along a river while a nearby reservoir was filling and flooding caves. After one rifle jammed, they returned to their car when they heard limbs snapping and saw small trees swaying and breaking. They circled back to the riverbank clearing and came face to face with a hair-covered creature standing on a deadfall, which one of them shot multiple times in the chest. The creature fell silent, then revived and ran one way while the two men fled the other, later tracking it and sparking local monster lore.

A boy about ten arrived at the farmhouse after dark, hysterical. He said he took a wrong road by a swamp and rock quarry, saw a giant hairy man-like figure covered in white hair come from the swamp, and fled by bike to the house. The father later drove the boy back to his grandparents.

Two giant black beasts emerged fighting, tumbling down the bank into shallow water, slapping, grappling and biting. "Brinson Monster"
In 1966 or 1967, several high school students parked at an abandoned farm in the evening reported seeing a tall light-colored upright animal with red eyes watching them. The story spread through the high school where it became known as the Brinson Monster. The narrator notes people at the time did not connect it to Bigfoot or Sasquatch.

The witness's grandmother said she and a young relative living with the family repeatedly saw unidentified lights while sitting outside the house in the evenings during the mid-1960s through the 1970s. The sightings occurred at the family farm property.

The witness's father and a companion were fishing at Chambers Creek when a large hairy creature estimated at eight to ten feet tall appeared before them and roared while displaying its arms. Frightened, the two men ran to the truck and drove back to town. The account notes the creature was reportedly seen by others afterward.

He stopped, lit a honeysuckle-covered bush with headlights and flashlight, saw a dark hand move and then stared face to face with the figure for minutes before it walked away.

As teenagers, the witness and her boyfriend parked in a dirt cul-de-sac in a wooded park to spend time together. They heard heavy footsteps, snapping twigs and rustling circling them in the dark but could see nothing. When they drove away, the witness looked back and saw a tall, broad, long-armed silhouette step into the light under a street lamp, prompting them to flee. She later heard that a woman's mutilated body was found in the park, after which the park was placed under a nighttime curfew.
