A jogger resting near the bottom of earth steps heard someone coming but no one passed. Feeling uneasy she turned to see a tall muscular ape-man with brown-gray fur and a flat face with a large square jaw staring at her ten meters away. It turned and left, after which she smelled a stale farm-animal odor, having earlier heard knocking on wood.

Sasquatch sighting in Mississippi
A deer hunter in a climbing stand watched brush moving about 200 yards away and saw a large dark form squatting and disturbing a tree. When his stand made noise it looked at him, stood on two legs and ran. He found a huge slide track, then heard a wood knock and a whoop from different directions and left, later refusing to return.
Odor
The next day at noon at the old radar dome buildings the witness smelled sulfur-fecal odor twice, saw something black move below, and heard wood knocks from two directions.

The witness fishing near Killen Creek heard whistles and a thump, had stones thrown, then saw a very tall male creature by a snag.
