The witness was driving a water truck north of Fort McMurray and stopped for caribou crossing. Two bear-like animals approached and stood upright, revealing a tall brown female and a smaller black young male. A much larger male carrying a caribou appeared behind the truck, roared, charged, and struck the truck as the witness drove away, leaving a dent.

The figure crossed the road and a ditch in one stride and continued uphill into the woods while the dog stood rigid and silent. The witness did not follow and turned back.
