Early in the morning the witness stepped onto a second-story apartment balcony and turned on the light. She immediately heard a loud primate-like scream followed by woo-woo calls, which set a neighbor's dog barking. After several minutes she noticed a tree rustling, heard low grunts and footsteps along a privacy fence, and watched a very wide, hunched, ape-like shadow lumber along the fence line before two figures reportedly moved off together into the dark.

Three occupants of a car driving at night watched something emerge from a wooded area and cross the road ahead of them. The figure finished crossing on the south side, turned to look at their car as they passed, then went up a steep bank into woods with apparent ease. The witness was riding east on a highway with his wife driving when he spotted a tall upright creature in a field south of the road. The creature looked toward the road and then moved southeast toward trees as they passed. His wife also saw it briefly after he pointed it out, while their daughter did not look up. Shortly after, a loud impact sounding like a stone hitting the metal guardrail was heard by both, followed by a second strike as she re-entered the vehicle.

In May/June 2012 around 10:30 p.m. the witness and a relative heard a loud guttural vocalization outside the home. They went to the porch and watched a large dark furry animal low to the ground run on all fours past a neighboring home, triggering motion lights. Coyotes vocalized shortly afterward, and another relative later said the sound had awakened them.

Late in the evening the witness was sitting by an outdoor fire near a pasture when she noticed a head-and-shoulders outline above tall weeds to her side and heard a slight noise from that direction. She then saw a small limestone rock rolling nearby, which alarmed her because no natural cause was apparent, and she went inside. The next morning she found sticks, corn stalks and dirt clods in the driveway but nothing explaining the shape.

The witness and a relative were bow-hunting for turkey and had set decoys and a blind before stopping for lunch. The witness noticed a figure squatting at a trailhead across a field and alerted the relative. Both watched it stand, turn, and walk away into the woods down a slope toward the river, grabbing an overhead branch as it left. Afterwards they went to the spot and used the height of the grabbed branch to estimate the figure at about eight feet tall.

In the early afternoon the witness and companions were walking down an old logging road when they heard strange whistling, gurgling pig-like sounds and trees shaking nearby. The witness approached to about 30 feet and saw the back of a light beige, clean-haired figure with darker face and hands holding trees, which then struck trees, turned away, and ran off on all fours while whistling continued from across the road. Companions farther away heard the whistles, thuds and thrashing but did not see the figure.

Around midnight the witness went outside to take trash to the street and saw a tall broad-shouldered silhouette with long hair standing above a 6-foot fence. She first thought it was a person or a trick of light but felt uneasy and went back inside after judging it too tall for a person. The next day she found nothing at the fence that could explain the shape, and her dog behaved unusually restless after being let outside.
