After more than two hours his batteries died, and when he restored power the animals were gone without a sound.

The figure grunted, swiped and broke a large branch, then walked away. The witness later returned with others and estimated the branch height at about eight to nine feet.

Hiking with a companion, the guest exchanged rock knocks and then watched a small hairy figure run through thick timber about 100 yards away for about four seconds. He described it as reddish with long hair moving fluidly and extremely fast.

The dog acted fearful, livestock were huddled, and the woods were silent before a foul odor, heavy thumps, a branch break, growls and a scream occurred. The witness then saw large red eyes and a huge upright figure at close range, froze in terror and prayed, then fled to the truck without clear memory of the retreat, later finding the dog on the road and abandoning the rifle.

In dense early-summer foliage behind the first pagoda the witness saw a reddish fox-colored back with a head rise about fifteen feet away. Initially trying to explain it as fawn or fox, he watched it move on all fours with its face down, flat and gliding-like without galloping, very fast through cover. He concluded it was a juvenile, consistent with the reddish color reported for young ones and his idea the structure served as a crib.

He followed to intercept and a frightened deer stopped close in front of him while screaming continued from two positions, one with nothing visible. He concluded he had interrupted a hunt with one driving deer toward an ambusher.

The witness and two relatives riding in the back of an open pickup late at night saw a large dark-furred animal crouched in weeds beside the road. As the truck passed, the animal stood upright on its hind legs, its eyes shining green in the headlights. The driver did not see it and no search for tracks was made.

Two large brown figures with light streaks near the ears were seen about ninety yards away, one turning its head between the other figure and the group. Another figure was later noticed closer and one flanking to the side on video review. The group heard only brush sounds as the figures paralleled them out to a road.

The guest was canoeing with a church youth group near Mount Shasta when the group felt they were being followed along the bank and smelled a bad odor. A basketball-sized rock was thrown with great force from dense cover and landed near his canoe, prompting leaders to flee. Years later he learned a boy in another canoe had seen a head show its teeth then withdraw, which he now attributes to a Sasquatch.
Girls see "blonde gorilla" just north of the Twin Cities
Two girls were walking in woods near home looking for a tree to climb when they encountered an upright beige-haired gorilla-like creature in a clearing. The creature first appeared bent over, then straightened and seemed to notice them, causing both girls to run home and immediately tell a parent. The parent did not inspect the site because the girls were too frightened to return. An investigator later interviewed both witnesses as adults and they maintained the same account.
