Dogman sighting in South Dakota
While camped on BLM land near Badlands National Park, the couple heard distressed cows for hours and noticed one dog refuse to leave the truck. During a moonlit walk they lay down to look at stars, their dog barked, and they saw a very large black canine-like figure about sixty yards away with no eye shine that seemed to absorb flashlight beams while panting loudly. A second closer larger figure seen by the boyfriend flanked them, both followed the couple about a quarter mile back toward camp before disappearing, after which cows vocalized again.

The night after returning home the witness woke with eyes closed and heard a loud scream and a clear wood knock inside his head. He then saw a close vision of a large black-haired face with gray skin. He was not frightened and felt it was the same individual seen on the trail.

The witness was riding as passenger with a friend driving and her son in back after viewing an iceberg. Something ran across the road in front of the car, causing them to brake and stop. She got out with a flashlight to look but it was gone, and they drove back confused.

The group used a disposable camera in the woods hoping to capture ghost orbs. Nothing was seen at the time. After developing, one photo of a friend showed red flash eyes, with a second pair of larger, wider-set bright red glowing eyes visible above the shoulder in a hole in the trees where nothing should have reflected.

On another camping night two people returning to the bonfire thought two companions were wrestling by the fire. A spotlight revealed a large gray figure standing over the seated pair with arms out as if to grab them. The seated pair felt sudden fear and clung to each other crying without seeing it. When lit, it turned, took three steps, and disappeared.

Four people camped in a van by the lake and walked up a logging trail with torches. The dog ran ahead and fled yelping to the house. Something gray and bulky crossed the trail, then something crashed from the trees, blew out the torch, and loomed over them as a dark mass with outstretched arms. They fled to the van, later heard something walking around and scratching the van, and next morning found scratch marks through paint.

A couple nights later the guest drove a heavy truck on the motorway at night. He saw amber lights dive then level off and head to intercept him. They passed silently just over the truck roof as three separate amber plasma-like balls with small gaps and nothing connecting them, then continued over the hedgerow.

While alone at home with his newborn son resting on a cushion, the baby woke with a scared scream. As the guest picked him up he saw a semi-transparent figure about three and a half feet tall halfway in the doorway with an oversized head and skinny arm peeking in. The moment he reacted it glided fast across the room and out the open back door.

The guest took his 14-year-old son for a morning walk into woods behind the house. Both felt sudden dread and being watched. The guest looked up and both saw a black cylindrical object dart behind the only low puffy cloud and not emerge. He told his son they must leave, and neither of them later remembers leaving the field.

A few weeks later while driving at night the guest noticed a large ball of red light hovering low over high-tension lines where no tall structure should be. He pulled over and reached for his phone to photograph it. As he raised the phone it blinked out instantly.

On the third night the guest's partner woke at 3 a.m. to watch with him. He saw the luminous object descend and stop a few hundred feet away. She came outside, saw it hovering stationary and silent for several seconds, then it instantly took off upward out of sight.

The next night the guest stayed up hoping the object would return. Near dawn it reappeared low over nearby three-story houses and glided silently past. He called his partner who was too tired to get up, and the object made an instant 90-degree turn and sped up into the sky.

After seeing two low silent white balls make a right-angle turn, the guest went inside then felt instructed without words to go outside and look up. A large golden plasma-like object moved over the house and hovered above him in total silence with strong static and a feeling of love and being watched. He waved, thought about getting his phone, then it glided away and rose into the sky, after which he noticed missing time.

A boater drove to a remote new concrete ramp and got his van stuck in mud. While waiting alone with windows down, something hit and rocked the van repeatedly. He briefly saw two large brown eyes reflected in the window looking down at him, yelled, and the rocking suddenly stopped.

On another visit to Beaver Creek with the man whose property produced the Ohio Howl, the guest and others in fog saw dull reddish-orange glowing eyes across the river. They watched it run up a slope while keeping its eyes on them.

As a young child sharing a bedroom, the witness woke to see a tall hairy female-like face at the window across from her bed. The figure tapped on the glass and motioned for her to come outside, then moved to a second window behind her head and tapped there. The next morning plants and shrubs outside the first window were found crushed, and her grandfather called police.

After hearing a howl followed by five whoops surrounding the group, the witness and others went into the forest filming. Review of old footage later revealed a camouflaged hairy individual moving from center to left behind trees, distinct from another figure recorded at the same time. He describes hairy legs, torso and top of head visible through foliage and considers it a juvenile.

After a cold night sleeping out, the witness walked alone to a field where a large track had been found and sat with his back to the woods. He heard heavy stomps behind him and felt the ground shake, then saw a gray figure behind a tree about 30 feet away that struck the tree and vocalized. He scanned with his phone, noted an old tree break nearby and later heard two large knocks from another direction before returning to camp.

Cameras placed beneath a double arch captured a white blob moving through three daylight frames and rectangular beams of light traveling through trees. The same camera captured a nearly transparent bipedal figure standing and shifting slightly before disappearing into a blurry mass that also showed movement.
