The witness fired a hip shot from a rifle and then two pistol shots as it slid past into shallow water by a tree. They brought the property owner with a tractor, opened the chest, placed a rock inside, and pushed it into the swamp mud.

When the group made noise, it raised its front feet onto the wall and peered at them. They kept walking and did not see or hear it after the wall.

The witness fired at several dogs and then saw a dark dog- or bear-like animal move fast toward them on all fours and briefly stand up. The companion became ill and retched. They climbed into the treehouse and later felt something pushing the trap door up. The witness shone a spotlight and saw a bipedal dog-like thing walk away, briefly touch a tree, glance back with a grin, and drop over a knoll. No tracks were found in fresh snow the next morning.

The witness and a classmate were squirrel hunting from a high ledge overlooking a bog. They spotted a dark animal below that the witness thought was a small bear but looked odd. The classmate viewed it through the rifle scope, said it looked demonic and unnatural, and fled, leaving the rifle behind. The witness chased after him without getting a better look.

Coming home from third shift near daylight, the witness glimpsed a figure running through the front yard toward the barn. He found footprints that went around the barn, through the backyard, over a hot tub, around the house and over the propane tank, then disappeared with no continuation.

While standing on a raised deck calling for his dog late in the fall, the witness saw a dark brown figure in profile walk about six feet from right to left between the barn and house addition. It was as tall from the ground as he was on the deck. He went back inside without retrieving the dog.

The witness and a friend were quail hunting on the family property and heard steps following them through dense woods. After crossing a fence they watched a tall hairy biped step over the fence and move between trees to watch them before heading toward a creek. About an hour later the witness returned with older female relatives and saw a different-colored hairy leg and foot watching them from behind trees near the road.

The witness and his older brother were fishing with family at a pond and left to search the ground for rocks and small animals. After hearing a loud crash they saw what looked like a dead tree fall into a deep crevasse. When they reached the edge they saw the tree-like shape running away on the property, and they fled back to their family.

In broad daylight they watched a small shaggy juvenile about three and a half feet tall peering from a cane break about 80 yards away. The small figure disappeared quickly, which the guest believed was its mother pulling it into cover.

After hiding by cane and waiting between pines, he fired his thermally sighted rifle at a heat signature following him. The animal screamed loudly, crashed through brush and splashed across a creek, and was tracked for two days with no blood or hair found.

He watched two larger and two smaller animals take corn by dragging it with a stick and then eating the kernels.
