The witness was sent up a gravel farm road to get the evening paper. Near a berry thicket the witness saw a tall hairy figure pulling vines to its mouth. The figure looked at the witness, grimaced, and came forward, then stepped over a fence. The witness fled back to the house on a bicycle.

While road hunting with family in a truck, the caller saw a creature standing beside the road behind a tree, holding the top bent over to look at them. They made eye contact for three to five seconds. When he looked away and back it was gone, the tree was swinging, and he glimpsed it moving downhill on all fours. After this he quit hunting.

The foot lifted slowly and was placed back behind cover. It had a human-like shape far larger than human with visible toe separation and a leathery sole.

While driving past a mowed field the witness noticed an unusually large dark stump where no stump was known to exist. After passing, the witness stopped and backed up within seconds. The shape was gone, inferred to have moved quickly into nearby kettle woods.

While walking past a tall weed field, the witness saw a large round black furred head rise above weeds about 200 feet away. As soon as it was noticed, the head slowly lowered back into the weeds and remained. The witness ruled out birds or bears based on size and vertical movement.

After dark a large crouched creature with elongated red eyes appeared on the shoreline and was watched for almost an hour. One experienced hunter aboard said it was not a bear and chose not to shoot.

The witness, a longtime salmon fisherman, had anchored for the evening in Southeast Alaska and watched a large grizzly bear on a nearby beach. The bear suddenly froze and fled into brush. A tall hair-covered biped then walked out, stood watching the boat for about 15 seconds, and quickly disappeared into timber.

The witness was sleeping in a motorhome on Vancouver Island when something large violently rocked the vehicle. He saw a very hairy bipedal creature standing outside the window, then ran outside and smelled a strong musky odor like dead fish. He heard its footsteps stop nearby in the dark and retreated inside without seeing it again.
