Over five or six visits he saw two juveniles inside the house sniffing and eating muffins, interacted with a young golden-haired female on the porch, saw many eyeshine when a TV played cartoons, and watched a huge alpha male called Papa talk with the woman outside at night before leaving.

While stopped by an abandoned quarry lake, the guest heard a branch snap and baby-like crying. He walked over and found a small hairy juvenile stuck upside down by its leg in a tree. Two larger hairy females then appeared, one growled and yelled, and he fled back to his motorcycle where he later found three shiny rocks on the gas tank.

Late at night the witness heard activity outside, put out a recorder, and heard rocks clacked together and an extremely loud branch break up the hill. He also saw a large upright human-shaped silhouette move quickly and silently between trees about 50 yards away. He concluded a second individual made the uphill sounds while the seen one moved downhill.

The witness and two companions camped in a tent at the old shelter site after the shelter had been removed. In the evening the witness and one companion watched an elongated light move controlled through trees below the ridgeline toward the east. Later tree knocks were heard and the other companion reported a headlamp-like light approaching from rocks above camp, which was later discussed as possibly being eye shine, with no tracks found the next day.

The guest and two companions sat at a creek bed late at night with thermal imagers, one recording through a phone. They watched a figure slowly lean from behind a tree showing a cone-shaped head, shoulder and arm, withdraw, reappear, then a second similar figure appear about 20 to 25 feet away. After one companion hiked out, he radioed that he heard a whoop and felt followed.

The guest and his father went outside with a gun and saw a very tall slender black silhouette with long arms standing at the end of the trailer by a drop into woods. The witness and a date were parked in a car in the woods on a fall evening when the car shook and a huge face appeared at the driver window at very close range. After starting the car and turning on headlights, they saw the animal on all fours on the passenger side apparently avoiding the light, then dash about 35 feet in front of the car into the woods where it stood up. The creature was described as over 7 feet tall, brown, fast-moving, and left muddy handprints and scratches on the car before the witnesses left for town.

The next afternoon while burning trash by the cabin the guest and his friend heard chimp-like chattering and saw two dark upright figures walking north along the opposite shore just inside the treeline. They could see no hands, faces or other detail.

During a group outing intended to call in creatures, multiple individuals closed in while vocal mimicry shifted suddenly to loud aggressive growls. Two or three figures emerged from brush and physically forced participants toward vehicles. The group scrambled to leave as one researcher passed close by the largest individual.

Through a night vision scope at about thirty feet the observer saw most of a face in brush with the lower jaw obscured. He described a human-ape intermediate face with no forehead, a central brow ridge, almond eyes, flat wide nose and wide thin-lipped mouth. He considered this his best facial view.

While trying to flank elk, the witness went alone down into pines and lost sight of companions and elk. He saw a round brown head with forward eyes and no ears or snout watching him from behind brush. It looked at him and away repeatedly for a few minutes before he left.

The witness and his partner parked in a refuge at night and made vocal calls. Heavy footsteps approached the van and a dark figure was seen through reeds. After leaving and returning, whoop calls were exchanged. The partner declined to return after that.

About two weeks later at 3:30 in the morning the guest sat on the deck steps and heard heavy bipedal footsteps crunching leaves up the fence row. It stepped over a creek without breaking stride. In porch light she saw a large gray-brown hairy portion of its body about 20 feet away, then retreated inside from fear.

While hunting most of the day the guest drove up a dead-end road in Crow Canyon. Around a sharp corner he surprised a huge creature holding a small tree. He stared briefly, felt numb, avoided its eyes, then waited and called his brother before speeding out fearing a rock through the windshield.

After cleaning at a slaughterhouse the guest and his cousin followed a large buck to a field and turned around. The cousin shone a spotlight and stopped. The guest saw large red eyes about nine to ten feet high by a tree for a few seconds before it left. The cousin was shaken and refuses to discuss it.
