Terrified, he prayed aloud, drove past while nearly blacking out, and watched her walk away along the white line.

After pets were torn apart and claw marks appeared on windows, the witness heard a dog being killed in the driveway at night. She went to the porch with a gun and flashlight, saw a figure run behind a parked semi, then saw clawed hands gripping it as it peered around. It growled deeply, she froze, then dragged the injured dog inside.

As an adult, the witness and her son went to the barn about 10 at night to find paperwork. A huge dark figure entered the other stall door, blocking it and breathing audibly. They backed out to the house, and the thing then burst out and crashed through the woods loudly enough for a neighbor to hear.

A very tall reddish-brown ape-like animal stood there holding a post with a foot raised as if to step over. He made eye-to-eye observation as he passed and realized he had run over the rear of a deer carcass the figure appeared to be watching. He braked but kept driving.

On the second night the group went to a hill and quickly got a thermal figure stepping from behind a tree. It paced between two trees and squatted over about ten minutes of footage, then hid when the witness stood. A bitten apple from a bait station was kept for possible DNA testing.

On the first night the group found many tracks of three sizes and cast the clearest ones. Returning after dark they got a thermal hit about 50 yards away near the creek showing a back on all fours and a head and shoulder. They filmed several minutes and next day found the travel path and recreated the position.
