The witness was riding in a pickup with a relative scouting timber in a steep mountainous area when a large hairy upright animal crossed the road in front of the truck. The animal came down one bank, crossed in a few fast strides, and went down the opposite slope out of sight while brush broke behind it. The relative stopped and got out with a rifle but could not relocate it.

She stayed on the trail with it alongside until the edge of the woods, then ran to a nearby building while it remained in the woods.

He looked up and saw a manlike figure about eight feet tall covered head to foot in long hair with a strong smell. The witness was staying overnight at the family property and went outside about 2 a.m. to quiet barking kennel dogs. On the way out and again on the way back, the witness noticed a large silver-colored being sitting calmly on a woodpile and watching. The witness went inside, locked the door, awoke shaking three hours later, and later called a friend and drew what was seen.

Two people were fishing at a river at night when wildlife sounds suddenly stopped. One of them went to the top of the bank with a rifle and spotlight and observed red eyes estimated to be 7 to 8 feet high near the fence. Shots were fired toward the eyes, impacts were heard, and the eyes closed with nothing further seen. The pair left quickly, had to move crowded livestock to exit, and never returned.

When the witness was a child, he accompanied his grandfather to unlock gates and check boats at a remote fishing spot early one summer morning. After getting out of the truck, they saw a tall hair-covered figure standing on the far side of the lake near the dam about fifty yards away looking at them. The grandfather told the boy not to worry and turned him toward the boats, and when the boy looked again the figure was gone.

As a teenager sleeping alone in his brother's bed, the witness woke suddenly in the early morning and looked out the open window. He saw a silent, motionless, internally lit white sphere hovering at an angle where it could see into the room. After watching for several minutes, he woke his younger brother, and when two faces appeared at the screen the object slowly receded upward until it looked like a twinkling star and was lost. He resolved never to forget the sighting and did not speak of it publicly for decades.
