About 20 feet away he saw a hair-covered creature sitting asleep against an oak tree with its hands locked across its knees. A large black, burly-bodied creature crossed the road in front of their car, moving on all fours or dragging its front limbs. It looked toward them showing a face described as similar to a Sasquatch or orangutan, then disappeared into darkness.

Two companions camping overnight were awakened by movement on rocks above camp. They listened for about 15 minutes, then watched a bipedal form cross a stream and meadow into the treeline about 200 yards away. About a decade before reporting, the witness was riding a horse alone on a dirt road near dusk when the horse stopped and stared into the woods. The witness then saw a tall white upright creature approach quickly and turn sideways before disappearing silently behind small pines. The witness did not enter the woods to investigate and left the scene quickly.

The witness and a relative were driving in the early evening as a storm approached. About 30 yards ahead they saw four hair-covered bipeds walking single file east across the road from dense woods on one side to dense woods on the other. The figures ranged in size and were holding hands, moving with long strides without appearing hurried. The witnesses did not stop and reported no unusual sounds or odors during this encounter.
