Late at night the witness noticed the apple tree at the far corner of the yard shaking violently. After a brief check with a night-vision scope that revealed nothing, the witness looked again and saw the upper portion of a tall, hairy, human-like figure walking toward the creek past tall berry bushes. The figure was backlit by a neighboring porch light, showing a large rounded head on very large rounded shoulders with little neck.

The witness was driving northbound on Sly Park Road before dawn when the high beams revealed a large animal standing on two legs beside the road. The animal dropped to all fours, crossed to the opposite side into roadside brush, then watched the vehicle from the brush where its face was seen close to the passenger window. The witness later estimated its height at about eight feet based on the roadside drop-off and concluded it was not a bear.

The witness was driving slowly westbound on I-84 in fog and snow when they passed a large, dark, shaggy creature sitting or leaning against the guardrail beside the lane. The creature appeared to watch traffic pass, turning its head from side to side, with snow streaked on its long hair or fur-like coat. The witness saw no stalled vehicles or reason for a person to be in that isolated, steep, cold location and later wondered if it could have been Sasquatch.

A couple driving slowly at night in snow claim a very tall, dark, massive figure crossed the highway in front of their truck and nearby cars while illuminated by headlights. They said it covered the road in only three to four long strides and then vanished to the west side. After a pause they agreed to each other that it had looked like bigfoot.

They noticed a large dark figure in a green winter wheat field about 200-300 yards away that stood upright and watched them for about two minutes while handling a small branch. He first thought it was a black bear but, viewing it through a rifle scope from about 200 yards, concluded it was man-like and not a bear or human. When the witness crouched, the figure stopped then ran on two legs into an alder swamp, leaping over water and moving quickly through difficult bog ground.

The figure was seen from behind as it walked away with long strides and swinging arms. The witness called to coworkers, but no one else saw it and no tracks were checked.

They watched it cross the creek, climb the banks, and run along a power line into pines where the sounds eventually stopped. They tried to backtrack it but lost sign beyond a farm pond.

The witness was hunting squirrels alone late in the afternoon along an old road near a swamp. After smelling a strong foul odor and hearing growls, hoot-like sounds, footsteps and brush movement, the witness continued toward a clearing. The witness then saw a tall reddish hairy creature cross the road behind them in one step and run into the brush, then ran to the truck and left.

The witness was driving home at night when the car ahead came to a complete stop. Two very large, barrel-chested bipedal figures crossed the road in front of the cars with a high-stepping march, appearing unbothered by the vehicles and lights. The witness drove past slowly, did not see them again, and hurried home shaken.

The witness spent a night alone in a familiar forest to think through personal troubles. After a sheriff left, loud crashing came down a hill and something stopped behind a tree about twenty feet away, breathing loudly while two dogs stared transfixed. The witness retrieved a handgun from a car, threatened the presence, rescued the dog, drove to safety, then returned with headlights to see a large black hairy arm gripping the tree before leaving.

A large fur-covered animal with long arms crossed the road quickly on two legs, stepped onto the guardrail, and leapt down the other side toward the lake. The witness did not stop, stating it was neither a person nor a bear.

The witness took his dog to a remote forest campground late in the year and built a campfire. Something crashed loudly down the hill and stopped behind a tree near the campsite while the dog reacted. The witness armed himself, retrieved his gear, and later saw a large hairy forearm and hand with thick black fingers by the tree.
