Woman reports riverbank sighting
The witness was driving west across a bridge over a river with a companion on a sunny afternoon when she looked toward a sandbar and saw two reddish-brown hair-covered figures. The larger figure stood behind a much smaller one with arms outstretched and stepped forward while the smaller one leaned toward the water. The sighting lasted only seconds before the view was blocked, and the figures were gone when she recrossed the bridge about half an hour later.
Couple has two sightings near home
A couple of years ago at a cabin, the witness and a companion went outside at night with a flashlight to investigate a smell and noises. An outhouse fell over, and something stared at them and made a loud noise for a few seconds before running away. Neighbors came out afterward while the witness remained in shock.

The witness was driving to pass time during a tournament weekend when they reported seeing an 8-foot creature run toward a fence and into an open field. About 15 minutes later the witness returned with two relatives and saw the creature walking up a gravel road. The witness shone a spotlight on it from 100-200 feet away, watched it stop and move toward the car, then honked the horn before it ran into the field and the group left.

The witness's daughter was home alone late at night when she heard something pacing back and forth outside her bedroom window. She looked out and saw a very large black figure that appeared well above the bottom of the window. She called her parent terrified and hid until she was picked up. The reporting parent found her hysterical and felt uneasy approaching the house.

A large brown figure was seen moving about 25 yards ahead, then appeared stopped and looking back with amber reflective eyes. The witness was snowmachining at night with two companions when the witness rode ahead into an opening in the woods. After noticing strange tracks and a depression in fresh snow, the witness's headlight illuminated a figure about 10 to 12 feet ahead running away. The figure ran through deep snow, jumped over a snow-covered log, and disappeared into trees and darkness. The witness turned back, rejoined the companions, and left the area.

Two companions walking late at night heard rustling moving around them in bushes and heard a squeal, then encountered a huge 8 to 9 foot tall entity that approached them. They fled to a nearby shop, heard a bang, and saw the entity staring at them through the window before it ran away. They remained inside the shop for the rest of the night until morning.

On Jan. 18, 2004 at dusk the witness was driving toward Okeechobee when she reports seeing a small hominid cross the road and leap over a drainage ditch at great speed. She describes details of its size, head, hair, arm and foot despite the distance. She slowed to look for it where it disappeared but found no movement or trace.

The witness was driving home from a night shift around 3 a.m. in falling snow when they noticed a white figure in the road that first resembled a large goat. As they approached, the figure stood upright in the middle of the road, appearing taller than the car, muscular and covered in dirty white-gray hair, then froze as the vehicle passed. When the witness checked the mirrors immediately after passing, the figure was gone.

The witness was driving home at night on a back road and saw a tall, black-haired figure standing by a utility pole facing the woods. The witness slowed for a closer look, noting broad shoulders, pointed head hair, and hairless hands, and estimated the height at 7 to 8 feet. The figure briefly made eye contact before looking back toward the woods, and the witness then drove away quickly.

The witness was using an electronic predator call at night when he heard an unidentified sound behind him. He shined a red-filtered light toward the sound and saw a dark animal he first took for a bear. The animal stood upright and moved away quickly on two legs while making a continuous deep, raspy growl that faded with distance.

The witness was driving slowly along a ridge-line dirt road during a boundary survey at midday when a black figure was spotted among trees. Initially mistaken for a stump and then a bear, the figure was judged too thin and tall to be a bear. As the vehicle closed to close range, the figure sprinted across the road on two legs and disappeared into trees.
Family has two late night sightings near Nevada City
A husband and wife were driving slowly on a dark, icy, snow-covered road at night to pick up their son. A tall, dark, hair-covered biped stepped into their headlights and crossed directly in front of their car in two long strides before going into a nearby yard and hiding in trees. They continued on to collect their son.

Two companions were driving home along River Road when something walked into the road ahead of them. They braked to about 25 feet away and watched a tall, hairy ape-like figure stop in the middle of the road, look toward the car, then continue across into the river where it was lost from sight. Both occupants stated they saw the same thing.

While boating toward the wide outflow area of the lake, the guest saw a very tall naked hairless figure standing in the middle. It looked at him and moved with a large hip and leg motion. He turned the boat around quickly and left while looking back.

About twenty minutes later in a shaded, washed-out section of road, the witness mistook a large multicolored mass in a drainage ditch for a broken tree stump. The shape turned toward him in one fluid motion, revealing eyes, arms, legs and a neckless build. After about twenty seconds it jumped effortlessly up a six-foot bank and crashed away through the forest, prompting him to end the trip and hike back to his truck.

While driving and spotlighting deer, deer stared up a steep hill. The witness shone light and saw about seven feet high with red eyes wide apart. They returned slowly, deer gone, then rocks struck the back and door of the car leaving dents still present.
