The witness was hunting alone at dusk when a rock was thrown from the tree line. He scanned the trees with a gun-mounted light and saw a tall upright creature behind a large oak that growled and screamed, prompting him to fire at the tree. The creature fled bipedally across a meadow toward a valley. Afterwards the witness found hair and blood on the tree where the creature had stood.

The creature is described as 7 to 9 feet tall, walking upright with a slight hunch and running too fast to follow. Up to nine family members in three houses have seen it when arriving, leaving, or moving between houses.
