Multiple incidents near rural home outside Adel
The witness sat alone on the back patio at night facing the woods and spoke aloud. Three figures approached from different directions with audible walking and breaking limbs. The witness shone a flashlight on the closest one, seeing a large squatting outline with widely spaced bright green eyeshine, then went inside and still heard movement an hour later.
Adolescent child has early morning sighting near Chatsworth
The witness stood on a back step calling for a dog and looked over a tall kennel. A large hairy creature with reddish-brown hair was partly visible behind the kennel, showing part of its head and a long arm. The witness estimated it was about 7 feet tall because it stood taller than the kennel, then heard landing thumps and ran back inside.

The witness stepped outside for a brief nighttime smoke break and noticed movement in the front yard. He turned to see the back, shoulders and head of a very large, hunched, hair-covered creature retreating behind bushes near a yard light. He could not see its face, legs or feet and later measured a nearby limb to estimate its height.

The witness was watching TV at home in daylight when a dog reacted to something outside the back door. The witness saw the upper body of a large dark unclothed figure moving rapidly past the house beside the pool area. By the time the witness reached the door, the figure had gone over the fence, and the gate was still latched and locked.

In the early afternoon the witness was about to enter brush ringing a stream inlet when a very tall, hair-covered human-like figure came within about 20 feet at a slow walk. The witness described its size, hair, facial features and muscular build, noting it was defensive but not threatening and made no sound. The witness withdrew to a truck without being followed, and also noted a very large track, sand mounds, possible vomit and scat, and bark damage in the same area.
Scary encounters outside a rural home near Jackson
The witness and a companion were camping in a tent on the witness's driveway in mid-October. Around 2 a.m. under a full moon, the witness awoke to grunting and snapping trees and saw a large hair-covered figure striking and eating a deer, then dragging it uphill. The figure approached the tent, giving off a strong musky odor and knocking a frying pan from a tree before leaving. In the morning the witness found deer remains, drag marks, and a shelter-like structure of bent and broken pines.
