The witness camped alone in her van at a rustic campground during storms. Deer ran toward her then fled after looking toward the treeline, where she saw a high pair of large forward-facing eyes. After trying brighter lights she got in the van to get thermal, closed the slider, and heard a loud growl very close. She stayed quiet overnight hearing howls and screams, and her friend found suspicious tracks and hair the next morning.

The witness, a wildlife biologist, was deer hunting at dawn on his forested property when a jet-black canid-like animal stalked toward him. He fired a .45 at its head with no apparent effect, then yelled, after which it rose bipedally to about seven feet with a broad chest and long thin arms. He fired twice more into its chest, it sank back to all fours and retreated, leaving only uncastable imprints and no blood or bullets found later.

Around 2 a.m. on a clear night in late October, the witness heard growls and other noises outside his home and went out with a flashlight to investigate. He reported a strong dead-animal odor, movement across the road, and green eyeshine, then watched a tall dark bipedal animal cross the road into his woods and viewed it at close range in the treeline before retreating to the house. He reported hearing noises through the rest of the night and finding a few tracks afterward.

The witness and two daughters were driving a pickup on a forest two-track in the evening to gather rocks for a fire pit. A tall black-haired biped ran across the trail in front of the vehicle in a forward-leaning run with arms hanging low, followed about 15 feet behind by a large gray wolf. Both continued up the hill on the far side and disappeared, and a next-day search found no tracks because of overnight heavy rain.

After other family members left the cabin for the evening, a father and his adult son stayed to clean the cabin exterior when stones began landing around them. They retreated inside as stones continued to strike the cabin on multiple sides. The father then saw a large dark figure run bipedally across the driveway, and impacts on the cabin walls continued late into the night.

She reported a brief side view of a tall, dark, hairy bipedal animal running awkwardly into the woods and disappearing. In early April 2006 around 2:30 a.m., the witness was inside his trailer when he saw a hairy figure staring through a nearby window. When he tried to shut his front door, something held it open against his push. He retreated, armed himself and woke his wife, but the figure was gone and only muddy fingerprints remained on the window.

Late at night at home, the witness and three companions heard banging on the deck and went outside to investigate. In moonlight they saw a large shape kneeling on the lawn that stood and ran across the lawn, through a puddle, and up a driveway. The group later heard low growling and groaning, and the following afternoon the witness found a large footprint in a nearby sandbox.

The witness was on an early spring morning walk along a two-track through swampy woods when she heard movement and saw a large white figure moving quickly away about 50 yards away through dense undergrowth. She followed it visually for some distance and noted its rapid movement and swinging arms. The next day she returned to the same area and found very large footprints with only three toes visible and widely spaced, which she interpreted as confirming the figure was not a human.

He waited several minutes but it never surfaced, then found a fresh bare footprint with clear toe detail at the water's edge.

Four teenagers walking north from a family hunting camp stopped on a steep two-track when they saw a tall, broad, dark figure standing in the middle of the road at the hilltop staring at them. Poorly defined pushed-in depressions were later noticed in soft gravel and sand in the general area.

After a foul odor and prolonged barking by the guard dog, a long loud vocalization was heard, the dog was apparently dragged from under the chicken-coop camper, and three household members separately reported red eyes staring through windows. By morning the dog was dead and mutilated, all chickens were gone with feathers and footprints scattered, and the coop hatch had been opened from underneath.

The witness and an older sister rode bikes along a road beside a dense wooded lot. They stopped after noticing a dark stump-like shape in the middle of the lot and, when wind moved long hair, realized it was a large hairy figure sitting cross-legged apparently asleep. They described a flat apelike face and long limbs and fled quickly to their house where they told a parent. They said they avoided the road and thicket afterward.
