A man reported a roadside crossing on Vancouver Island in late April that frightened him. Possible footprints were mentioned. A local researcher set trail cameras in the area.

The witness was home at night with two female relatives when they went to open a sliding glass door for air. Pulling back the curtain, the witness came face to face with a tall gray-white hairy creature bent down with a hand reaching for the door handle. Both screamed, the creature made a horrible groan and ran down the hill toward woods and swamp. Tracks were later seen around the door leading toward the woods.

Two men and a boy exploring the swamp interior found huge four-toed tracks and left frightened. A later armed party of nine trailed the tracks, camped, and was attacked by the creature. Five men were killed before the creature was shot dead and reportedly measured at 13 feet.

The guest was screamed at near the truck, bedding and very small footprints were found, and cameras captured young ones playing. Large 17 to 18 inch tracks were found and 15 to 20 foot pines had been pulled up and dragged across the trail.

The witness was riding ATVs with family near a lake house when his younger brother stopped ahead on a sand trail. Both stopped and watched a large hairy biped standing at a distance and then running across. Afterwards they found large human-like foot compressions where it had been.

The guest and a friend were walking a remote field in Kentucky to look for artifacts and re-examine barefoot-like prints found the prior days. From several hundred yards away they watched a hair-covered biped stand up, pace near the treeline, flail its arms, puff its chest, and repeatedly pick up dirt clods to sling toward them. The pair kept their distance and walked out to the road, feeling the animal was agitated and territorial and did not follow them.

The first guest's friend was asleep in his house on the reservation with the window open on a hot night. He woke to loud breathing outside, saw a large beast standing at the end of the backyard by the mountains, grabbed a rifle and turned on a light, after which it was gone. The next day he and his brother returned with guns and found three large footprints in the backyard.

A few years after the first track find, the witness and friend returned to call bear or cougar. They found a small pine snapped off at seven feet and thrown, with large tracks showing toe dig and a six-foot stride. While driving down the mountain the witness looked down into an open area and saw a huge hair-covered Bigfoot with one arm around a tree watching them pass.

The young witness was tending a fire she built with her father after he went inside briefly. She repeatedly saw a very tall dark furry figure standing at the woods edge watching her, with glowing reddish eyes. She fled to the house in fear, and afterward flattened leaves and a broken branch out of adult reach were found at the spot.

The friend was typing on a laptop when he looked up and saw an ugly man-like face staring through the window, then fled the room. The next morning in snow he and his father found large footprints circling the cabin and porch, knee-like marks by the bedroom window, and a large handprint on a snowy wall. A neighboring cabin owner said such activity was common and described watching animals from cabins at night as Bigfoot TV.

Five investigators went to the cemetery at night with a word-generating ghost box and lights. Two men saw three shapes in trees that dropped down, approached, stood on two legs, and vanished when spotlighted. Lights shut off, something circled them, and they later found very large hoof-like prints and saw a large cat cross the trail.

A research group camped at a remote river location and stayed up late around a fire to invite attention. On about the fifth night whistling calls, heavy movement through brush, and a loud branch break approached camp. The witness watched through a night-vision monocular as a large silhouette crossed a road with a smooth gliding gait, and the group later found disturbed ground and footprints that were tracked for about a mile.

About two football fields from the prior laughing incident, the witness saw bright red eyes about three feet off the ground that looked like a crouched mass. As he approached it stood to tower over him, revealing black hair, gray skin on face, chest and palms, and wide shoulders. It growl-barked, stared at him, then backed silently into the darkness and vanished.

A couple set up a tent late at night in a small Arkansas river campground and noticed broken trees, a single large glowing eye by the river, then two large eyes watching from uphill. After going to sleep they were awakened by bipedal footsteps, owl-like calls turning to chatter, pebbles hitting the tent, touches to the tent and truck, and movement around camp. The man blew an air horn, they fled in their truck, later returned in daylight to find large footprints and discovered his phone had recorded sounds through the night.

The guest's sister and her friend saw a tall stocky silhouette watching them from the edge of the woods by cattle fields while on a trampoline at night. They froze, then fled inside. The next day large footprints were found from the woods to the house and muddy handprints on a sliding door.

Soon after the tree fall, the witness arrived home to find a relative firing a shotgun toward the chicken coop at a tall hairy upright figure that ran off on two legs. Shortly afterward the witness found a single large distinct footprint with visible toes beside a car in muddy ground. The print was estimated at about fourteen inches long and eight inches wide.

A neighboring farmer told the guest that rocks would hit his barn roof while he worked inside. He later saw a creature standing on the hill across the pond and photographed it, also photographing a track line in snow with very long strides.

Shortly after moving to a remote farm the witness heard whistles, door tapping and property disturbances. Waking with a sense of danger she shone a spotlight to the creek and watched a very tall muscular hairy figure stand, display large hands and scream for 30-40 seconds. The scream caused a physical ripple sensation and the family decided to move.

A group camping with horses heard the horses startle something at dusk and then saw a huge brown figure about 6 feet tall running extremely fast across a meadow away from the horses in a cloud of dust. One tethered horse was so frightened it jumped over another horse. The witness concluded the figure could not have been a bear because of the sound it made and the way it ran.
Man recalls adversarial encounter with an unknown creature near French Gulch
During midnight rounds at an isolated school compound, the witness crossed a suspension bridge and heard something raiding trash cans by the cookhouse. He threw rocks toward a large dark figure under the eaves, which stood erect, stepped onto the bridge, dodged thrown rocks, vaulted the bridge cables and fled upstream on two legs. He noted glowing eyes and a foul stench, then returned to his trailer without anyone else responding.
