The witness slowed briefly then left in fear and later returned in daylight to find large indentations descending the embankment.

The witness and a companion found very large footprints and broken branches while hiking and felt watched and followed back to the companion's house. The next morning the witness, sleeping on a couch by large front windows, saw a very tall brown human-like hairy creature in the clearing outside.
