He confronted two 8-9 foot hair-covered beings on the far side and a 4-foot juvenile trapped in the 12-foot hole, while a 10-11 foot individual flanked near his truck. After a scream-roar and standoff where he lowered his aim off the juvenile, the adults retrieved the juvenile and withdrew silently to the treeline. He packed up, later had researchers trespass after his cousin told them, filled the hole, and sold the property.

The witness was in bed late at night when barking dogs prompted them to go outside. They saw a dog run under the porch and something retreat into the woods. The witness ran inside, then returned with a flashlight to find twisted vegetation and snapped branches and noted a foul smell.
