The only direct sighting was last week when scanning a power line edge revealed 4-5 foot high paired red eyes that ducked behind a tree and vanished.

The witness was making coffee at about 3 a.m. when she saw widely spaced large yellow eyes looking through a window, with a dark width blocking the outside light and shifting side to side. She backed away and waited in the dark until daylight while a rank skunk-like odor entered the house. After daylight, she and a relative found a strong odor in the yard, vegetation matted and crushed under the window, and squirrel corn missing.

A witness and his two sons were leaving an area where they had been setting turtle lines when the witness saw a tall reddish biped near a dirt road about a quarter-mile away that stepped into the woods. He stopped without describing it aloud, and a son asked if he had also seen it, indicating the son had seen the same thing. They found two barefoot-like prints beside deer tracks at the spot, but rain covered them before photos could be taken.

Through the night they heard movement around the tents, sticks hitting trees, branches breaking, and had objects disturbed including a tent stake pulled out. They also reported white eyeshine, a pungent odor, a dark figure seen in the treeline after daylight, and footprints and torn branches found in the morning.

Late at night at home, the witness and three companions heard banging on the deck and went outside to investigate. In moonlight they saw a large shape kneeling on the lawn that stood and ran across the lawn, through a puddle, and up a driveway. The group later heard low growling and groaning, and the following afternoon the witness found a large footprint in a nearby sandbox.

The guest's brother and a friend were elk hunting at Mount Rainier. They returned to find their camp destroyed, then slept in the pickup with a camper shell. Around 3:30 a.m. a human-like face appeared at the window, bared long canines, and violently rocked and collapsed the shell until the men fled at sunrise.

While loading the vehicle to leave, one witness saw a tall brown human-like figure stand up about 15 feet away and walk toward the river. The guest relayed his father's account of a night when the family was home while the grandfather was away hauling freight. After a foul odor and prolonged barking by the guard dog, a long loud vocalization was heard, the dog was apparently dragged from under the chicken-coop camper, and three household members separately reported red eyes staring through windows. By morning the dog was dead and mutilated, all chickens were gone with feathers and footprints scattered, and the coop hatch had been opened from underneath.

From about 50 feet away under a bright light, the witness watched a tall reddish-haired biped rip open a metal trash can and dig through garbage for about 20 minutes. The witness was sleeping in a cabin during a summer camp session when loud nighttime noises caused an uproar. A cabin-mate reportedly looked out and described multiple large, hairy, human-like figures near the water tower and cabins. The next morning the witness saw extensive human-like footprints, a large uprooted tree, and vegetation pulled from the lake. Campers were walked around the perimeter to view the traces and were sent home early.

As a teenager at home at night, the witness heard a cry and loud noise outside her bedroom window and fetched her father. Her father went outside with a flashlight and reported seeing a huge hairy bipedal figure running away. The next morning the family found a steel downspout twisted around and folded in half.

Vocalization in Ohio
Woken by crashing and the dog barking, the witness heard a juvenile on the porch beating the deck and plucking the air conditioner while an adult gave gibberish instructions and the juvenile answered with tongue clicks. Then something wailed on the dog box. In the morning he found a twisted tree, shredded sapling and tracks and made a cast. With a flashlight he saw something large and black moving up the hill.

Two partners camped in a van with a friend and dogs for deer season. On the first night they saw an upright figure by a car that vanished in a few steps and was not the friend's companion. The next night dogs reacted to knocking at the window, a pumpkin had been moved without marks, and large human-like handprints with long fingers were found on the van.

While alone on a survival trip last November, the guest walked to a fork in a river and saw a large female creature standing about 150 yards away watching him. He photographed it, then stepped aside and photographed a small 2.5 to 3-foot brown baby in the bushes looking toward the adult.
