Two women on an evening hike heard a loud branch break and saw a large bipedal figure running parallel to them through the forest and down a hill. They watched it for several seconds as it moved very fast with long strides and a forward lean, making no running noise despite dry ground cover. Both described it as tall, bulky and covered in dark grey to black hair, concluding it matched a bigfoot and was not a human or common animal.

The group went to the spot, found flattened brush and a bent-grass trail, estimated the figure's height against the tree, took photos, and then heard knocking beats and hooting sounds after birds flushed and dogs barked in the distance.

The witness and her husband were awakened after midnight by strange sounds from their children's bedroom heard through a baby monitor, including squeaking at the window and a thump against the house wall. After the husband turned on exterior lights, the witness saw a large shadow move quickly away from the house toward nearby woods. Shortly after, both heard a very loud double whoop vocalization twice, which the husband said could not have been an owl.

While the companion stepped away, the witness heard a noise and saw a furry figure peeking from behind a tree 50 to 75 yards away. The witness and her husband were sitting in their parked car at an overgrown abandoned graveyard at night. She heard branches breaking, felt watched, and noticed a foul odor, then watched a very tall bulky figure standing between pines and swaying side to side for several minutes before leaving. Her companion in the passenger seat did not see the figure, reportedly because of dashboard light glare.

After hearing tree breaks, movement, strange noises and heavy footsteps, the witness saw a large red bipedal animal walk along the road. Two companions walking a hillside trail at night heard a loud snap and saw two large bipedal figures silhouetted against city lights. After one companion shouted, a second shorter figure stood up beside the taller slumped figure, and both fled on two legs crashing through small trees. The witnesses estimated the taller figure at 7.5 to 8 feet tall, hid at the fire tower overnight, and noted broken limbs and a sweet unpleasant odor in the area the next morning.

A family driving across Nevada early in the morning encountered a strange object that approached their station wagon and flew above the road. After a tire blowout, mist, humming and slowed perception, they stopped and hid in brush where a saucer landed and three floating beings took the two children aboard. The parents sought help at a military gate while the children were found the next morning on the test range and later described examinations, pills, a calming ribbon and a map.

Afterwards the witness found a porch freezer broken into with frozen food scattered, plus white hairs and ground impressions.

A family camping at Sunrise Beach heard branch-breaking sounds overnight and the next morning found a very large footprint in a dried creek bed. Shortly after, they saw a large brownish hair-covered creature watching them from behind a tree on a hillside, which then walked away toward the campground road. The father also reported seeing it cross the road ahead while lifting a wire out of its way, and the family quickly left the area.

The witness returned at dusk to check catfish lines on a river on a relative's land after hunting. After hearing loud breathing and smelling a strong odor, the witness saw a roughly six-foot wet fur-covered figure about ten feet away with river scum on its side, which stood still. The witness fled immediately, returned with a relative the next morning to find no tracks but estimate height from a nearby branch, and has since avoided the area.
Sighting and vocalizations at a home in Wayne National Forest
Late at night two companions were watching TV in a mobile home when they heard a noise at the front. The witness looked through the door window and described a large face peering in that then screamed and pushed away. Both went out the back and watched the figure step over a barbed-wire fence and run away hunched over with very long arms. A next-day search found no tracks, but they measured the door window at seven and a half feet above the ground.
