The witness was driving toward the beach at dusk when a large hairy creature stood in the road. The car glanced the creature, then the witness stopped and the creature got up, approached, and chased the car, striking the rear. The witness drove away and later found a dented quarter panel with hair, a shattered spoiler, and a lingering foul smell on the car.
While taking a break during a deer drive, hunter sees 6 foot tall creature run away down hillside
The witness was deer hunting with companions and stopped to rest on a hill. A black entity about the witness's height ran very fast down the hill about 50 yards away and disappeared in about five seconds, with breaking deadfall heard as it left. The witness was startled, thought it might have been watching, and later wondered if it was a large bear or loose livestock.
Man had deer stolen by creature near Lakehead
A homeowner had shot a deer and hung it in a tree behind the house. That night while going to let dogs out, he heard an unfamiliar scream and saw a large ape-like creature in the yard. The creature seized the deer and fled into the forest, tearing out a stretch of barbed-wire fence and leaving hair and tracks. A friend visiting the next day was shown where it stood and ran, including the tracks and hair.
Scream in Utah (1984)
The witness, then about 12, was deer hunting with his father, brother and uncles at a mountain camp. Over several nights a loud screaming vocalization was heard around 9 p.m. and the uncles repeatedly chased the source uphill. One uncle confronted a very tall hair-covered biped at close range and fired over its head, while later nights brought a spotlight glimpse of a large dark mass, a small 4-foot figure, answering calls from another ridge, uprooted trees and reddish hair tufts, before the activity moved away.
Hunter observes trio of animals near Nestor Peak Lookout
While hunting at dawn in the Nestor Peak area in fall 1982, the witness watched a smaller hairy biped notice him, scream and crouch to hide. A much larger similar animal then approached, touched the smaller one, and stared at the witness while breathing heavily, before the two walked uphill. A third slightly smaller animal joined them at the ridgetop and all three disappeared over the hill into the canyon.

The witness was fishing on the north bank of a river when a dog on the south bank barked at brush and confronted an upright, hair-covered animal. The animal knocked the dog down, emitted a ticking sound and a musky odor, then walked into the woods where the witness lost sight of it while wearing waders. The witness later found the dog with blood on it and reported seeing a taped-off police search at the site.

The witness was left to walk up a long steep driveway at night after others drove ahead and heard heavy steps matching her own. Near a lit barn she saw a very tall shadow, ran, and felt it breathing over her head. Her dog intervened and was picked up and thrown over a pool, suffering severe tearing, and hairs not belonging to the dog were later found in its mouth.

A relative then saw a large hairy unclothed figure watching the house, chased it toward the chicken area where it carried a chicken, hit a wire fence and leapt over a brush pile to escape. Later a hairy face appeared in the living-room window, a storage building and freezer were found entered, and responding deputies found nothing.

The witness was home watching a baseball game when a strange noise from the back porch prompted investigation with a pistol. The witness reported seeing a large dark upright shadow-like figure running toward the woods, firing shots, then seeing it again near an old stable and firing again without hitting it. Afterwards the witness found a porch freezer broken into with frozen food scattered, plus white hairs and ground impressions.
Witnesses saw Creature next to a Broken Tree
A group of youths watching cattle from a hill saw the herd become anxious and flee a corner of the field. They went to the fencerow to investigate and found reddish hair on barbed wire and a small pine twisted and knocked over high up. After hearing movement, two of them saw a face with gray-white eyes and reddish hair about seven feet up near the broken tree and watched it for about two minutes before fleeing.

In 1980 two men claiming to be Smithsonian field agents visited the grandmother's farm for two days after magazine coverage. They toured the garden and orchard, noted twisted limbs, cast footprints and a supposed sitting impression, collected hair and produce, and recorded audio. At night the family showed them figures with a spotlight, with up to three seen, and the visitors played a scream recording that was followed by distant chatter.

A group gathered on a front porch at night heard noises near an old chicken coop and saw two pairs of yellow eyes that appeared to be two feline-like animals in the headlights. A large hairy biped then stepped in front of the animals and lurched toward a car, prompting the group to flee inside and call deputies. The biped later stood outside a lit kitchen window for several minutes while occupants held firearms but did not shoot, then left before deputies arrived, leaving a strong odor.

A family living in a rural wood-frame home reported repeated nighttime visits over several years by two large hair-covered bipeds, one larger and one smaller. The creatures were said to peer in windows, mimic an infant's sounds, produce a strong septic odor, throw heavy tanks, damage a vehicle, and leave hair on the house. Livestock on surrounding farms were found dead with intestines removed. After the father fired through a wall at one creature, only the smaller one was reportedly seen, and activity lessened after relatives guarded the house and a protective ritual was performed.
Daylight observation from Beacon Rock, along the Columbia River
From atop Beacon Rock, the witness watched a huge black figure climb a railroad bed in two strides and then stride across a pasture toward the river, passing among cows that looked only half its height and seemed undisturbed. A smaller figure that moved on all fours trailed behind it. The larger figure squatted for a time at a tributary before crossing back across the meadow and being lost from view.

The figure left on two feet and headed toward the lake after appearing to notice it was observed. The father hurried out and said nothing until he was miles away, then advised returning only with a larger-caliber rifle.

Two friends were playing at a secluded campground by a river on a clear spring afternoon, shooting at a can floating downstream. After noticing sudden silence and a rising noise from across the river, they saw a tall hairy figure standing with one foot in the water and one on the bank. They stared at each other for several minutes, then the witness fired his rifle into the air and both fled by car.
Creature sighted twice by three men while camping in northern Minn
Three men were on a fishing and camping trip near Lake of the Woods when they saw a tall hairy figure watching them from behind a tree. The figure ran away bipedally, and a rotten stench was noticed in the area. As the men walked along railroad tracks bordered by swamp, a football-sized rock flew past them from the side with no one visible, and they later saw the figure run across the tracks ahead of them. They returned to camp and told local residents, some of whom said they had also seen a hairy person.

The creature paused when it noticed them, then turned toward them, prompting them to run a short way before looking again. The witness and a companion walked near a gravesite picnic area at dusk and approached the outdoor toilets. The witness encountered a tall hair-covered figure beside the toilets that followed closely while bent on its front limbs with its rear raised. The witness fled to the car, after which the figure stood upright, vocalized loudly, and chased the vehicle a short distance before they drove away.
Sasquatch sighting near Spottsville, Kentucky (1975)
In 1975 the witness's family living near Spottsville, Kentucky experienced repeated activity over many months. She described hearing loud limb breaks and an elephant-like scream, smelling a dead-like odor, finding footprints, and losing livestock and pets with entrails removed. She twice saw an 8-foot hairy figure on the property, and four armed relatives fired from the roof as the figure ran past a barn and jumped a fence unaffected.
